My one concern is that on my invoice, where suggested repairs are listed, they said my front brake linings were very thin and should be replaced. This is not true; the front brake linings were replaced (by my son-in-law) about a month before this service appointment
I do not believe this was a phony attempt to get some work (as practiced by many of the chain repair shops) but merely a lazy repeating of a prior assessment without actually checking the condition of the brakes before recommending replacement.
At first I was upset, thinking I was being scammed - but then realized they were just repeating a prior assessment. Probably not a good practice if it leads to distrust.
My suggestion is that they rethink this policy and make sure suggested repairs are actually needed.
