expensive service done half way!
This experience was the worst I ever expected with Hyundai service. I was not satisfy at all with the service made...
They were suppose to rotate my tires as they mentioned: it suppose to be done at each oil change, which it was my 3rd time already and it was the first time they decided to rotate them. Well later on that day when I was gone I received a call from the service advisor asking me if I wanted to keep on doing the rotation knowing that one of the stud and lug nut were broken and they had to replace them at my cost. I told them to stop the process and will get a 2nd opinion somewhere else. When I came back to pick up my car they rotated only the left side (driver side) but not the passenger side which I made sure for them not to do so!!!!! None of the sides !!! And now I receive the bill which include the labor for rotating the 4 wheels which at the end they did only in 1 side and I have a broken stud and lug nut which need to be replace, and the passenger side wheels which need to be rotate... the service was made only half way!!!! In addition I believe when they tried to remove the wheels they did not have the right tools because my rims are customized and it is the reason why I believed they might have broken the pieces at the first time... Is there anything you could do at this point? The service is still half way done!!!!!

Jennifer, I am sorry you feel the way you do, but I think there is alot more going on than your story indicates. First we do not rotate at every service, its every 7500 miles. If we neglected to rotate them at 7700 mile when you were in it has no bearing on whats occuring with your lug nut and stud. Apparently you came in missing a center cap for your wheels on the right side of the car as i see a line on the r.o. requesting a price for one. In the 15k service that was due on your vehicle the tire rotation is included in that price. In performing the tire rotation we started on the left side of the vehicle and rotated both those tires. As we move to the right side of the car to rotate those tires we notice that one lug nut and stud is stripped (not broken as you state) and it just happens to be the wheel missing the center cap. Now we are in the business and see this all the time where a persons wheels may have tried to be stolen and they got as far as the lug nut and realized they wont get the wheel or someone was in there doing something because the center cap is a screw on type, they dont just fall off. Therefore when we called you to inform you of the stripped lug nut, we had already done the left side(which your statement that we called to see if you wanted to keep on doing the rotation confirms that). Next you state that we caused the broken stud because we did not have the right tools. If thats true how did we do the left side? I understand that you are not happy with the situation you are in, but that dosn't make it our fault. And trying to spin it into our fault is not going to help the situation. We are here to help you if you would like. I have told your advisor what I am willing to do for you. Please contact him and I'm sure we can help resolve this and complete the tire rotation for you.
