Got a brake dragging. The shop told me that I have a bad caliper and brake hose and quoted me more than $300 to replace. Since it's easy I replaced them and then bleed the brake myself. The same brake is still dragging. Obviously caliper and hose is not the problem. I'm very disappointed

Mr. Li, thanks for the response. I'm sorry that you found
our work estimate to be high. If you wish, please bring in
any estimate that you are using as a comparison, perhaps we
can explain any significant differences. Since we did not
actually perform any work, I feel that your critizism may be
a little pre-mature. However, as a 'compromise', perhaps you
would like to bring the car back. We will check the work
that YOU performed at no charge, and see if we can more
clearly determine the nature of this issue. Thanks.
