I realize that I came in and said "I want the axle replaced", as opposed to asking you if the axle needed replacing. I am not a mechanic. I was advised by a mechanic at a brake shop that I went to that it needed to be done, and that's why I brought it to your shop. However, that being said, I am disappointed in how it was handled. First off no one called me to say my car was ready. I spent 4 1/2 hours killing time in Redding, the last two of it sitting in a parking lot. When I called at a little past 12:30 I was told it had been ready. Why wasn't I called? Secondly when I picked it up I was told nothing was wrong with it. Should not I have been called advising me of that? I would gladly have paid a restocking charge and the labor envolved. That being said, I like your shop, but in the future I will be more explicit about such matters. I will be back rather soon with another issue I'm having with my other vehicle. The party I am really upset at is the brake shop. Believe me they have heard from me.
