Not the place to take an RV
I would definitely think twice before bringing your RV here for anything. Had to wait for an appt. for more than a week For NY insp(not legal), tranmission filter and fluid change, and install 2 tires. Dropped it off tue night so it would be there 1st thing wed. morning for my 1st thing appt. (They knew when making the appt. We were leaving on a trip that Fri. Morning). At 4PM they notified me, that their "expert" RV tech couldn't find the rating plate (it's by the drivers seat like all RVs). Then failed my NYS RV inspection because he couldn't figure out how to push a button on the control panel to turn the wipers on. When I told them how the wipers turned on they then decided I had a running light out, when shown the law, that those lights arent inspected, they decided a crack in my windshield would fail it anyway, (crack in not in view, not wiper path as law states) However they did elude to the fact that it would pass inspection if I allowed them do the work they wanted to do.
Was quoted :
$250+ diagnostic charge to figure out the wipers (that worked)
$50+ or a wire nut on the running light
$2600+ for tie rods that had "slight play"
$400+ for the alignment
I declined the additional work and was given my recipt, and NY inspection report, they only reason for failure sent to the state was my wipers (that worked), they hand wrote the light and windshield on the form. I don't like to male assumptions but seems like that is exactly how they could pass it if i gave them $3k.

The following morning 9am, my RV passed inspection at another place, no issues what so ever.

They Charged me.
$26 for an imcorrect NY emissions/safety inspection (RVs are only safety)
$1,000+ for basic transmission service. $125+ to mount and balace (2) 16" tires that I supplied.

This is an RV on a basic ford econoline chasis with 30k miles on it. There is nothing heavy dury about it at all. I am very disappointed. I was hoping to find a decent and honest mechanic, this place seems to be anything but. I will be filing a complaint with new york state.

Excellent service, they send you pictures of the items that need repair, they did rear brakes, wheel alignment, tire balancing, inspection, oil change, replaced a tie rod all in one day.

spent over $500, still have the same problem.
were the existing batteries at fault? They were replaced with new ones and the problem wasn't solved.

If you want excellent, honest, expert work De Hatt is your place!
There are not too many places to go for RV service, but Del Hatt is the best! The changed my oil and filter and gave me a New York State inspection. They lubed everything and checked my whole chassis for me, including the air pressure in my tires. Corrine and Kevin were great to work with. They know their stuff they do things right the first time and they are excellent mechanics, professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. I recommend Del Hatt to anybody who has a motor vehicle or an RV. They do a great job and are reliable.!!

Professional technicians
Hard to get old time service with skilled mechanics. These big franchises are very hit and miss. Lately I have even had problems with dealerships. At Del Hatt’s you can rest assured you’re getting high quality service on a consistent basis. Highly recommended

Great service.
Have been going to Del Hatt for years and always pleased with the service. Kevin and the mechanics are great. Car inspected and give detailed explanation of what is needed and what can wait. This time needed driveshaft. Due to expense went for used part. They did not like first one that came in and ordered another one. Find them very honest. Courtney is also awesome. Communicates with you the whole time car is in the shop. Highly recommend.

Del Hatt comes through again
Del Hatt was able to find the parts for one of our service trucks that other shops said were not available, on backorder. Even the dealer! They got the parts, installed them and got the truck back on the road serving our customers again! Job well done as always!!

NYS inspection, rotation, balance.
I was able to get a convenient appointment. My vehicle was given a thorough maintenance inspection. Tire rotation and re-balancing improved the ride quality. Work was completed promptly.

Great customer service, timely repair, and always kept notified of what is going on
For over 30 years I was a regular customer at a chain automotive shop where I would have work done on my vehicles. Every time I returned for another repair I always felt as if I was there for the first time. The managers would try to sell you a repair not needed so they could show a profit and move up the corporate ladder......so not the case with Del Hatt Automotive.
Either calling or showing up in person, they know who I am and treat me as if they knew me for years (actually have been going there for years now). Both Kevin and Courtney go over the entire inspection and diagnosis and help me understand what needs to be done.
This particular time I had a check engine light that has been on for a while on my 2004 Honda CRV. They scanned the code, diagnosed the problem, and discussed the proposed repair with me. The next day I had my car back and the check engine light has not come back on since........perfect.
The really nice thing about Del Hatt is that they care, they contacted me days after I picked up my car to confirm if all is well. At that time I didn't reach 100 miles yet (usual time it takes for check engine light to reappear). I am happy to say that after 300 miles, all is good.

Thank you, Kevin and your team for treating me like a person and not a dollar sign and fixing my car the first time.

Oil leak repair
Bought the car about a month ago from a dealer near Catskill NY. Noticed an oil leak under the car and brought it to DelHat to have it repaired. They replaced the oil sending unit and replaced some transmission lines while there. Kept me updated throughout the 3 days while the car was there. They also offered a loaner car while it was in the shop. The car came back great and inform me of other issues to keep an eye on.
