It's never fun when the diagnosis isn't what you hoped for, especially when warranties are involved. We're sorry to hear about the confusion and the hassle you had to go through. In your case, a seal was bad, it was replaced because it was leaking and we warrantied it with no extra cost to you. At the time of replacement of the seal there were no other indications there was anything going on other then the seal leaking. Unfortunatly when your dealing with warranties there is only so much we can do when we need the ok from the dealer first. The last time you were in we noticed there was a lot of play in the axle. We can't see inside the transmission to see if there was anything wrong with the bearings inside. We recommened sending you to get another opinion on it.
