Like a family business…
No arrogant mechanics here pumped up on being busier than they could ever want. This is a place where you can talk to the people and get personalized service. They remember your name they remember your car and they don’t overcharge you. They get on your team, and work with you to get your car and working order both in the present and in the future. Best place in North Seattle, in my humble opinion.

Extremely helpful
my first car and the engine was overheating since I don't know very much about cars and some other shops weren't the nicest I took it to A1 because it was close to home and I was desperate, Dave was very kind and understanding and explained things very well it was a comfort in a situation that is very difficult especially since repairs are so expensive and I'm not in the best financial situation but they helped me explore my options and made it as easy for me as possible and I really appreciate it. great shop great people.

Jessica said the business was really patient with her getting in to see them from her end, she had to call and cancel, then reschedule a few times. She said they worked with her about what was going on and got to the point. She worked with Paul and he was really great.

New guy at the counter…
David did an excellent job coordinating the work that was needed on my car. A1 is an old style type of business that treats their Customer as well and they won’t cheat you! Very important these days. Thanks, Dave and A1 you guys are great.

Had better service here
I’ve always been super happy when I come here and I needed an oil change as I have pre paid for four I had three left but also needed my car looked at from a previous repair . I went in they did oil but didn’t top of any of my fluids like they usually do and this time something was a little different . I had called and gotten a quote without a Cupon a few days prior to my appointment when confirming appointment I told them about Cupon and was quoted the same price , I even asked the guy if that was with the Cupon !
when I went in we discussed all the minor repairs that had been done up to this point even tho they were the last to work on the car and checked the othe machanic work back in November. November they stated that the work that machanic did had a loss bolt they tightened no extra charge …… funny thing is that’s the exact same thing the guy told me they did this time .

I have two more oil changes at this shop and idk if after that I’ll be returning. Honestly I own my own company and honesty is super important to me . They either lied to me in Nov or lied to me the other day either way I’m super frustrated with the change in staff .

Excellent!!
The guy at the counter was very personable and correctly predicted the problem with my van before it was taken back to be serviced by someone else. Everyone there is very friendly, and knowledgeable.
The prices are either cheaper or the same as others, never more. As a woman, I would worry about getting ripped off, but I don’t here. I’ve been here a few times now, and wouldn’t consider going anywhere else.
