A+ Auto North Charleston is TERRIBLE
A+_ Auto in North Charleston is terrible, DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR THERE! got an oil change done less then 2 months ago, had someone else fix my coils and spark plugs, while they did it they notcied I had NO OIL, I dont have a leak and theres no way in less than 2 months and barely driven my vehicle has no oil, this means they didnt put oil back in my car when they changed it, Called to speak with the manager and he was very rude and not helpful at all basically telling me it was somehow my fault and there was nothing they could do. I spent over $4000.00 there getting work done and they did a sh*t job will NOT be bringing any of my vehicles back there. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!

Very Dishonest/Untrustworthy Group of people
Have absolutely nothing to do with this shop! Gabe Faust and Richard Williams are nothing but professional scam artists. They bilk money out of people all the time for unnecessary repairs. They are NOT good people.

Very Dishonest/Untrustworthy Group of people
Have absolutely nothing to do with this shop! Gabe Faust and Richard Williams are nothing but professional scam artists. They bilk money out of people all the time for unnecessary repairs. They are NOT good people.

Absolutely the best!!!
These guys are the best. They were very friendly and provided me with an inspection that was sent to my phone. They took pictures of all the things they found wrong with estimates. They really go a long way to build trust. They also provide a 4 year 48,000 mile nationwide warranty! I will definitely go back !

STAY AWAY - BAD MANAGMENT
(11:26AM) 2.5 hours and counting for a simple oil change. Arrived around 3 hours ago with appointment and my car is still sitting in the same parking spot. Have been told "I'm next" multiple times. An oil change should take 20 minutes.. stay away from this mess.

UPDATE 1 (12:02PM): About 5 minutes after posting this a supervisor who would not give me their name when I asked approached me in the lobby and asked me to step outside. The supervisor informed me he gets goggle review notifications directly to his phone .. that he "has a family to feed" & "reviews like that could deter someone from coming here" I calmly explained to him I have been sitting here for 3 hours without my car even moving from the parking spot I left it in and I am upset the secretary told me several hours ago my car is "next" while watching several customers come after me and leave before me. I was told they have simple tire services and an oil change takes longer. I then asked "What is the point of an appointment if after waiting 2+ hours I can just get passed up by walk-ins?"

This seemed to anger the supervisor who raised his voice and told me to just "get in my car and leave" I asked for my keys and I was told to wait outside and was called a "punk" The manager was very noticeably shaking at this point and screaming loud enough the employees inside could hear him. This business made me feel threatened and the manager on duty has serious anger management problems. This is definitely not a family friendly establishment, and I wouldn't recommend this place to ANYONE.

Manager mix business with pleasure!!!!
I don't know where to begin at with this place.Got a vehicle from them had to took back multiple of times  I forgive them and even once almost got arrested due to they gave  me a loaner Again  I forgive him . I always had to text Gabe(owner ) for them to take payment out . I thought they finally get the hint now  but obviously not I was not going to keep texting the owner informoring  him to take money  out account I even brought the truck in to get some work done on it and still didn't inform me about the payment  information.When I use to come there get vehicle work me and the owner (gabe) use to mess around (Sexual relationship) and telling me we have to be cautious cause he  can't get me pregnant at the moment while your wife was pregnant with his  last child but I stop coming to the shop for that reason because I didn't want to continue  mixing business with pleasure because I know it was going to create problems. EVERYONE  IN THE SHOP KNEW EXACTLY WHAT WAS GOING On WHEN GABE USE TO CALL ME IN The BACK TO HIS OFFiCE  Boom !!! Thats exactly what had happened  couple months later got a couple text and about meeting up to have sexual  intercourse from the owner but I did not  respond anything back on sexual intercourse subject but I did respond back if everything was good and he said yes.but obviously owner got upset that I was not having no s** or not giving him no more oral s** or he gave me oral so one morning woke up he had the vehicle  get tow I text him directly and his exact words was ohhh I haven't been making payment and  your bill is up to 5,000 .His people was trying get in contact with me .But obviously not  because you clearly had my direct cell phone number  and my personal Facebook page that we communicate through. Please don't respond stating that I'm dishonest I have all the proof. I have no problem uploading all the proof on here.. I said how's that possible if they were trying to get in contact me  When you when you just messaging me about meeting up to have s... at my house so obviously you could have text me about the payment issue instead of asking me for some p.... And no I'm not just upspet because you decided tow the vehicle because it had over 200,000 miles on it vehicles  comes and goes.....Its just the way how you handle business FYI Best advice GABE Don't EVER MIX Business WITH PLEASURE ESPECIALLY HAVING YOUR WIFE INVOLVED WITH YOUR BUSINESS...

Overpriced
This places overcharges and will do random diagnostics to get your original price jacked up. I paid $332 to get my radiator replaced at Geralds. They wanted $668. Thats absolutely ridiculous I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Poor Quality and Crazy High Pricing
A complete rip off. Took car in to have the air checked out and charged. Told me it was ready so went in and paid my $249, picked up the car the air was blowing hot so went right back in and was told another $800 to get it to work.

Had them check the brakes, charged $50 was told that the front OK back needed new cylinders, brake pads and hubs. Less than $200 in parts and $1000 to replace the rear brakes. That is $400 per hour in labor

$249 later I left with an air that is worse than when I took it in and an oil change.

Pulling in my driveway 7 miles away my rear wheel fell off.

Look at their reviews, most are older, this is current

What service!
I have been a customer of A+ for over 4yrs and they have always done good work and treated me right, but I had an experience today that was just over the top.
I have several cars one of which is a 2017 ES350, my first brand new car and my baby! I am as ridiculous with that car as anyone could possibly be. For 3 years I have been worrying about having to take it to a mechanic one day. I needed a tire rotation and just this little thing worried me silly because I know how most mechanics are, they work on cars for a living, it is their JOB and they want to get one car out so another can come in. They would not treat my car like I would want it to be treated. Yesterday I stopped by and spoke with Jamie. I explained what I wanted and how I was about my car and I know I am ridiculous, but Jamie did not make me feel ridiculous. He said, I understand completely, she is your baby. Bring her to me and I will take care of her and you. So I had the tires rotated today and what an unbelievable experience! I don't want to say all the things he did for me because some were probably not standard operating procedures, but I will tell 2 things that just blew me completely away. The mechanic used a torque wrench to tighten all the nuts to the proper ft/lbs. He did it all by hand, no impact wrench was ever used.Can you believe that! Then when it was ready, it was drizzling so he laid out a square of oil absorbent material beside my door and told me to wipe my feet before I got in my car! I have always liked Jamie, but today he really shined! Can't say enough about Jamie, Gabe, AJ and Tony they are all great and the mechanics they employ are very good also! If you have never tried A+ you seriously need to, I do not believe you will be disappointed!

I recently brought my car brought my car to A+ Auto Service in North Charleston for a break replacement and new battery. Jaimie, Tony and the crew that worked on my car were very friendly and knowledgeable. They did an outstanding job. I have been bring my car here for years and never have I had a bad experience. I will not go anywhere else. Thanks guys.
