I REALLY DON’T WANT ANYBODY’S HARD EARNED MONEY TO BE WASTED ON THIS PLACE -ARAPAHOE HYUNDAI. THEY REALLY NOT WORTH IT.

THEY SOLD A FAULTY VEHICLE AND TOLD ME THEY WILL FIX IT < EVEN AFTER KEEPING THE CAR FOR 4 DAYS IS SERVICE CENTER, THE DIDN'T FIX THE ISSUE . JUST LIED THAT ITS FIXED.

Find Another Place For Service
About a year ago, I wrote a review giving them five stars. They have since changed managers, and they are to be avoided. I took my car in for general service and maintenance last month. When I found out that they had changed managers, I was not surprised to be told that I needed more than $1000 worth of service that I had not requested (I declined the offer). I took my car back today to get a minor adjustment on something they had done last month, and unbelievably I sat in front of their service desk for five minutes while at least half a dozen employees carefully ignored me, so I left. You can do better almost anywhere.

service is a problem
I wrote a letter gm James crowley. I provided specific details on my new Santa fe hyundai. car shuts down turns off. service dept can't look at it until Nov. I explained I live alone and I'm a veteran on fixed income. could they provide courtesy car. they said no they don't do that anymore I said usaa discount is $344 a week, I obviously can afford that. thrn service said they would look at it that we'd. and call me Thursday with status they never called. I called in 2 times no response. I told clerk if I cant get status ill come get car. I also texted my service advisor who was texting me no reply I pickup car, no apology had private auto repair run diagnostics in 2 days. sent error code dealer service. codt for thst review snd o I l chsnge $120 I consider thus a safety issue and would think service would think this a priority to look at. did not have the car for a week had to use uber rides still waiting for a response from someone. Purchase your new/used vehicle from ANY dealer other than Arapahoe Hyundai
I never review anything. Visiting Arapaho Hyundai yesterday changed that for me.
For the readers that don’t care much for reading novels I will start with the end result. If you are needing a vehicle, go somewhere else!
In fact, call Arcadious Raclawaski at Groove Ford less than a mile away! Groove Ford is an amazing dealership, honest, polite, willing to go the extra mile! The entire vibe at this dealership was 1000% better than Arapaho Hyundai. Better customer service, better financing options (6.69% less than Arapaho Hyundai), better trade in value, better experience and more bang for your buck.
If you are still debating whether or not you should visit this dealership let me get into the details.
I have never dealt with a more sketchy and dishonest dealership in my entire life. Called on a truck, first time to inquire about it, second time to let them know we were on our way from down from Northern Colorado. When we arrived at the dealership there was someone else test driving the truck we called about. We were reassured by the car salesman we talked to about the vehicle previously, that there was no paperwork that had been started on the vehicle and as long as we started the Paperwork we would be fine as they are a first come first serve. We proceeded to start the paperwork and figured it would be pretty quick and easy considering I already had my financing set up and ready to go. However, that was not the case. They insisted on pulling my credit even though I was already setup with financing. The manager then proceeded to delay processing our paperwork until the other potential buyer returned from the test drive. Although I understand this from a business perspective I do not understand what they did next. They intentionally lowballed a trade in, which again, fine, part of business. Then they insisted that I could not use my own financing. Instead I was required to go with their in house financing at 10.99%. Which they did not mention any of this prior to pulling my credit. Considering I was putting a decent amount of cash down and the financing I already had set up, approved and ready to go was 4.3% this is absurd. Also, you can not finance and then payoff the next day, you must keep their financing for 4 months.
Trust me, don’t waste your time at this dealership! The manager was rude, has zero integrity and was willing to screw his salesman as much as the customer so he could make the commission instead. If they are even willing to screw over their own, how much could they possibly care about you, the customer?
Again, if you are needing a vehicle, go somewhere else! In fact, call Arcadious Raclawaski at Groove Ford less than a mile away! If you are looking for something not available at Groove Ford contact James Marson at Clear Shift in Highlands Ranch. We located a gorgeous, like new, 2018 Ford F150 Lariat with 10k less miles, received $5k more on the trade in and was able to use my own financing at 4.3%. At the end of the day, I guess Arapaho Hyundai is worth the one star because their inept and dishonest practices forced me to find a better vehicle, less miles, lower interest rate and we were in and out of the dealership within 2 hours total.

Unreliable…
In September my husband wrote a review after we were screwed over by Hyundai- on 9/23 I was contacted by the director (in the form of voicemail) from the service department who said my mirror would be replaced free of charge, today I went in for my service and I mentioned this to the assistant manager and he contacted the director (who was in the building the entire time unbeknownst to me) he basically called me a liar, said he never left me a voicemail saying such- they ended up giving me a discount on the mirror to shut me up but I’m still out thousands of dollars in warranties I paid for that obviously don’t even cover the first damage I’ve tried to claim… total protection they call it, so conveniently all the people who rolled out the red carpet when we bought the Palisade like the finance department- and our salesman were all “unavailable”- The director was only available by phone until I was in the waiting room and he came in to adjust the air, he didn’t even speak to me, had his assistant manager do all his dealings, I guess he only replies on the internet… makes me wonder if my husband would have dealt with this if the outcome would have been different, because I was a woman they knew they could sucker me into paying the price and all the big important men could ignore me… this is the second and LAST Hyundai we have purchased from Arapahoe Hyundai- I have never felt so belittled in my life, it was humiliating going back and forth, accused of being dishonest and I had my two small children with me. I will make sure from now on to try to schedule my services at another Hyundai dealership. If you want to see the true rating of Arapahoe Hyundai I suggest you look on Yelp… you will see a change in score from the 4+ rating you are seeing elsewhere.
(Also- sent our friend to buy a BRAND NEW Sonata a few days after we bought our brand new Palisade and we are still waiting on that referral check…)
If you are buying a car from here, make sure you understand that TOTAL protection does not mean TOTAL protection…. And if someone leaves you a voicemail, save it.
We felt so wined and dined during the entire purchase process- but now keys in hand and months later, the dealership doesn’t give a crap about us.
I feel sorry for the poor guys in the service department who probably have to answer for these broken promises daily…

Crooks!
We bought 2 hybrid Sonatas. Within a year and a half both engine starting batteries went dead. Arapahoe Hyundai service insisted the batteries had to be replaced not just recharged. We went along. They could not or would not solve why the batteries went dead in the first place. Another year goes by and another dead engine starting battery. Arapahoe Hyundai says the same thing again. Thankfully I kept my AAA because the Hyundai tow service is only to dealers. I have the car towed to Interstate battery. They are in the sole business of selling batteries. They tell us the battery only needed to be recharged! The car lives in the garage on a trickle charger.

ARAPAHOE HYUNDAI SOLD UNSAFE CAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My husband and I have purchased MANY NEW vehicles from Arapahoe Hyundai we have returned SO often that we know SEVERAL sale consultants and finance employee's by name and have had a good relationship with Arapahoe until now. We took our granddaughter there to buy a used car and this is when ALL our problem's began other dealerships have a mechanic or technician inspect used vehicles BEFORE they are sold OBVIOUSELY this didn't happen with our granddaughters car there is a HUGE list of problems with her car SO MANY in fact that this is a UNSAFE VEHICLE and should have NEVER BEEN SOLD!!!! We also purchased a extended warranty Brian told us bring the car in and we will take care of everything my husband and granddaughter took her car in a week passed and we didn't hear ANYTHING so my husband went to arapahoe and was told Paul was supposed to speak to the service department to let them know what the situation was with the car and what was to be done to rectify ALL the problems as Brian said they would do so the car sat there for a week and NOTHING was done the excuse given was Paul forgot to speak to anyone in the service department and they didn't have the sense to ask ANYONE about the car so our granddaughter was without transportation for a WEEK to go to work and take her son to school she had to Uber. So Brian told my husband they will give my granddaughter a loaner. Another week passed and we heard NOTHING so again my husband went to Arapahoe and was told her car was ready yet NO ONE contacted us so my husband told Brian when our granddaughter gets off work they will go and pick her car up when they arrived my husband asked Brian what did they fix and he said we fixed everything BUT they were NOT given a work order to show what if anything was fixed Brian also DID NOT return to my husband or granddaughter the extended warranty they left in Brian's possession when they left the car when my husband asked about a work order and the warranty Brian said you don't need it it's ALL in the computer. The next day after getting our granddaughter's car the CHECK ENGINE LIGHT was back on, the speedometer is now not working and again a list of things are STILL wrong with her car so the only thing we can assume is Arapahoe didn't fix anything on her car and since we weren't given a work order sheet that would show what was repaired on the car we can only assume we weren't given one on purpose and NOT BY ACCIDEN'T because NOTHING was fixed. We have NEVER taken ANY of our cars in for service and were NOT given a work order showing what work was performed or what work is recommended so we have HUGE DOUBT'S of what happened with our granddaughter's vehicle. My husband went back once again to Arapahoe and spoke to Brian and told him he wanted my granddaughter's warranty it should be in OUR POSSESION AND NOT as Brian said in the computer we paid ALOT of money for the warranty. My husband told Brian there are still MANY problems with the car and Brian said they will set our granddaughter up with a loaner again and he will call my husband.We waited and waited and did NOT hear anything so my husband started calling and calling and we were basically black balled we couldn't get anyone to return our call's and they even hung up on us so we couldn't get through to anyone. At this point our only option is to seek LEGAL ACTION on Arapahoe Hyundai which is sad to say the least All these year's we have purchased MANY NEW CAR'S from this dealership we thought we were VALUED customer's OBVIOUSELY we were WRONG we can now see it was ALL about making PROFIT from us!!!
Arapahoe Hyundai sold our granddaughter a UNSAFE VEHICLE with a HUGE LIST of CONCERN'S and can be verified because before my granddaughter took her car to Arapahoe Hyundai for repairs she took it to Larry Miller Nissan for inspection since it is a Nissan car so we have proof of ALL the repairs needed on this vehicle.
