This business has gone downhill. Came in for a sparkplug and sparkplug wire change and an oil change. We spent over 5 hours there. Totally ridiculous. The guy at the desk told me the bays were locked up because of other vehicles. They pushed other vehicles ahead. I wouldn't recommend them at all.

Money grabbers
I prearranged to have new tires installed on my car for 7am Saturday am, also an alignment and brake pads. I brought the brake pads with me as pre arranged My inspection is not due until November but I asked if it could be done. 830 the mechanic arrived to work!! for the 7 am The place was then full.My car went on the lift 930 I was handed a bill at 1031 Charged me $207.99 to install brake pads,$99 for alignment no discount and failed the “not due “inspection for $21 for a “ crack” in passenger side That’s $408.84 for less than an hours labor When I challenged itt the guy just repeated the amount “ ma’am”
3 1/2 hours of my saturday morning wasted to then be overcharged!!! Don’t go there if you are female they take your money!!!

Not approved by BBB - awful
First off they are not approved by the Better Business Bureau and have a D- rating with them, so beware!
Had my car towed in for serpentine belt and timing belt issues. They told me car needed water pump. After doing that work and replacing timing belt, was told the car needs another engine after $1500.00 of work because of possible bent rods. The water pump and serpentine and timing belts were replaced on an engine that ultimately had to be replaced. The used engine that was replacing my old engine was for $1500.00. So now I'm $3000.00 in before the engine is even installed. They charged me $5,836.81 all told, including work on an engine that ultimately was replaced by the used engine.
Stay away from this place. The worst of the worst that will overcharge you if they can. This is the type of place that gives garages a bad name. A disgrace.

Car inspection
I had a car inspection done at Arlington Tire & Auto. I have a car that is 45 years old. So, with that said, I just don't take it to anybody. They were able to get me in the same day I had called, which is very unusual. I was very grateful for that! Anthony handle my appointment. Thank you Anthony! They took time and cared about my car and made me feel comfortable! I will be coming back for oil changes and inspections with my other vehicles in the future.

gave car back to me with a flat tire
This place is way too overworked, they make mistakes, big ones. Let me drive out with a nearly completely flat tire and will not return my calls. While the car was being repaired, did not return my calls for nearly a week. The whole lot is full of cars, no wonder they are inattentive. Been going here for years, but no more

Always an issue
Every time I come here there is an issue. Service is poor, never on time, never done correctly and the last three times I had to bring the truck back for issues not done correctly. Tired of hearing the covid excuse. Will never come back if my truck broke down in front of the place. Horrible

Never again!
I had an appointment for an inspection today at 11am . 11:20 came and I looked over to see if the garage was busy and there was only two cars in there bay and workers chit chatting as my car sat right in front . So I spoke with the women there about it and she got my car right in . I just had an inspection last year with the same car and now all of a sudden this year my car cannot pass because of the tints . So I ask what my options are and they want $65 to take off tints , so I tell them I will bring my car elsewhere and they told me fine . They go into garage to tell workers and come out and tell me I have to pay anyway since they ran car through machine , meanwhile they seen car come in with tints and like I said passed it last year . So I got a little upset especially when the guy there told me it was the law but like I said it passed last year and I sat for 20 minutes before they even started while there garage was empty. So whatever I paid 20 bucks and they will lose my business forever. I been bringing many cars for years and for $20 they lost my business forever.!

Worst repair shop
My car before being purchased at local car dealer was inspected and had a oil change at Arlington. Less than a week later my check engine light went on. They stated the part was "replaced". It was covered under warranty. Nine months later the same code had appeared for the 6th time. After leaving the car for two days the repair was never done. Finally my former mechanic looked at my vehicle and reported the engine could suddenly stop making the car unsafe to drive. The car was finally taken to another repair shop. The car had too much oil and the part Arlington replaced was not the problem. It was the wires connected to the replaced part. Arlington is dishonest and they do not follow the guidelines for Covid19. Thumbs down, Arlington Tire.

Moose Is the Man
I have taken my car to AA a few times on a referral from a friend that said "Go and ask for Moose" and I did just that and he takes care of me. He brought me back and showed me why my tires were so bad and why i should get the tires I did based on how much i drive every day. ( over 150 miles a day ). He is knowledgeable and friendly. The Staff is friendly as well.

Never Again
Bought my truck in for breaks and they did a good job. So a week later when my other car was making noise from breaks bought in to have them fixed and asked them to look over all car for any other problems as this is the car my son drives. Got call for breaks and list of other items so we agreed on breaks, rotors and break lines for 690 dollars, bill was794 and when I went to drive car home car had engine light on and drove very slow so I bought back and they told me it came in like that and that they could check for me. I took Car Goodyear instead and will never use this place again. I have never had a car given back to me in worst shape then when it came in.

Stay Away From Here!
I brought my car in for a NY State inspection. First, they had no record of my appointment that I had definitely called in advance. Second, they didn't even take my car in until almost an hour after my scheduled appointment.... and I had a child awaiting pick-up. Third, they told me my car couldn't pass inspection unless I replaced my windshield wipers. There's no way my windshield wipers needed to be replaced but at this point I just wanted to get out of there ASAP with my inspection complete. I gave them the go-ahead to replace my wipers. Fourth, it was time to pay and major rip-off (at least 2x the appropriate price!) on what they charged me for those windshield wipers! I will NEVER be a customer here again!
