Terrible customer service
I have purchased three new cars from this location, when it was Bales, and was considering a fourth. However, the customer service has gone so far downhill, it is making me reconsider. While the work performed is satisfactory, the service department is unresponsive to phone calls, even though the voice mail message says calls will be returned. I understand that they get busy, but I have been waiting on a return call for over 10 days. I don't anticipate I will hear back. And this is common! This, plus it taking weeks many times to get an appt for a recall matter, is unacceptable. I love my Hyundai, so this is disheartening. Bachman just doesn't care like Bales did. Very sad!

All around excellent
Steve Clubb and all staff were very respectful and prompt. The worked with me very well and in a timely manner. Definitly happy with the services.

Lack of communication
Service Consultant Vick Perry and Dara Bowman did their job and was very professional. However, since Dara Bowman had a family emergency and had to leave work early on 8-23-22. I called several times and the calling center employee/s was very rude and unprofessional. I had to call back at least 4 times and I kept telling him that no one was answering the numbers that he was forwarding the calls to. His reply, "Mam, what do you want me to do about it", they all probably gone for the day. As, a result I missed a very important doctors appt. on 8.24-2022. Communication with customer need improving.

No one seems to know what they're doing. This is twice now where I have come away from Bachm Hyundai after an oil change with an experience that does not want me going back. If a car's tire needs to be replaced or plugged. Then please do so, sending me away without any solutions or repair work being done is not the way to conduct business. I never had any of these issues when it was Bales Hyundai. I did take my car somewhere else, and they took care of me. I called Bachman Hyundai a week ago to schedule an appointment to get my tires worked on, (and even though I took it to another business that day to get my car taken care of.) NO ONE AT BACHMAN HYUNDAI HAS EVEN RETURNED MY CALL FROM A WEEK AGO about the appointment I was told I needed to schedule. Thanks for all of the stress and the confusion.

The Hyundai Forever Warranty is for REAL! Broke down 5 hours from home...after diagnosed as engine failure...engines were in short supply due to pandemic and manufacturing issues...it would be about 90 days to get new engine and installation completed...somehow these folks got it done in less than 30 days! THANKS...BACHMAN HYUNDAI to PARTS and MECHANICS folks!! You ROCK! Car back home in Minier Illinois!
