BBB F RATING FOR PATTERNS OF COMPLAINTS FROM CONSUMERS.
Do not buy or deal with this dealership before reading the reviews on the BBB and on-line. Be forewarned that several customers report that they are manipulated in giving a high rating in exchange for a free service. If the reviewer does not across the board give high marks, the offer for the free service is reneged. So be wary of any high marks. Baytown Hyundai, Humble Hyundai and North Freeway Hyundai are owned by Paul Peebles. The General Manager at Humble Hyundai is John Kay and Service Director Tim Shipe.
Rather than honor my safety recall appointment of three weeks, I was told that I needed to return because the part was not available and that customers need to come in first to have their VIN number and odometer photographed before the recall part can be ordered. Gave me a 21-point inspection list of REQUIRED IMMEDIATE ATTENTION totaling $1,040.64. One item was for an Alignment for one month old tires with alignment already performed a month prior. I was put on a PERMANENT DO NOT SERVICE list at Humble, North Freeway and Baytown Hyundai dealerships by Tim Shipe because I became upset when my scheduled recall appointment was not addressed, I was deceived and made to waste my time and income. These three dealership service departments have refused to address a Federal Government safety recall on my car.

SIMPLY THE EASIEST AND BEST!
If you want to have the BEST experience shopping for a car, go see Dewayne Irchril. I had to drag my husband kicking and screaming on a college football Saturday, but no worries, Baytown Hyundai has that covered with a huge TV and plenty of comfy seating and refreshments. This is my 10th vehicle purchase from Baytown Hyundai, and it is truly the best car buying experience EVER. From Dewayne's jokes to Ray Funk's stories, there isn't a better place to spend your Saturday. I am absolutely in love with my new 2024 Kona N-Line.

Thanks Baytown Hyundai...and don't forget to ask for DEWAYNE!

I would like to start with the best Salesmen ever born Dewayne! There will never be any better! He has been my Salesmen for 11 years. This purchase was my 9th car from Baytown Hyundai and they all make buying a car a smooth and awesome experience every time! This group of people make buying a car like winning the Lotto LOL! I also want to thank Deno, Fez the GSM and Raymond Funk in finance! Mr. Jarryd GREAT job on the new Facility and for having the BEST staff in Baytown. I will continue to only buy all my cars from Baytown Hyundai. So if you are looking to buy a car, go to Baytown Hyundai and ask for Dewayne! You will not be disappointed!

Most pleasant car buying experience ever! Thanks Savannah!
As with any vehicle purchase, there are always negotiations and we really had not come to buy. My husband is tall and we just wanted to check head room and leg room in the new Palisade. Problem. We FELL IN LOVE WITH THE CAR :) ! Wasn't prepared with our trade-in, I had frozen our credit for security purposes, yadayada....But we got a very good deal in our opinion and they waited for us to go home and unload "stuff" from our trade-in and unfreeze our credit. We are so happy with the car and the staff (especially Savannah and Mike) at Baytown Hyundai.

Brett, my sales rep was easy to work with and very helpful in explaining the features of my new car, 2023 Hyundai Santa Fe. As advertised, lowest price among all dealers in and around Houston. Had the please of meeting Jarred (GM), who was equally courteous.

Best Experience ever at the Baytown Hyundai CarPro Dealership
I recently was looking to trade in my 2020 Chevrolet Equinox Premier. I reached out via email to Baytown Hyundai to see if they had a 2023 Hyundai Tucson Limited and wanted to know the price. Without hesitation Britt Childress responded with what I would pay for the vehicle. I started crunching the numbers and thought I would be upside down on my Equinox. I let Britt know that I probably would have to wait because of that factor, and he asked for my payoff and went to work to get me the best price for my vehicle. Needless to say, Britt did a wonderful job and got me out of the Equinox and in to a brand new 2023 Tucson Limited. The whole process was hassle free and stress free. All the work was done before I even arrived to the dealership. I walked in, looked at my new Tucson and went straight into finance. I was dreading haggling about pricing and warranties and all that comes with purchasing a new vehicle. But to my surprise, it was the most stress free experience I could have ever imagined. I will be recommending this dealership to any and everyone looking to purchase a new or used vehicle.

Great Experience at Baytown Hyundai
I recently purchased my first brand-new vehicle with Deno at Baytown Hyundai. It was my first time financing a vehicle, so I was unfamiliar with the process. Deno did an excellent job of being patient and accommodating for me. He answered my questions confidently and accurately. He also helped me pick the perfect vehicle to fit my needs in an efficient matter of time; the deal only took a few hours. If anyone is looking to buy a car, they should give Deno from Baytown Hyundai a call.

Sales Bambooziled
My 21-year-old son went into the dealership to purchase a new car and I was co-signing the loan and putting down the need deposit. I was not able to accompany my son because I was out of town, but we communicated while he was there with the sales rep by phone. The sales rep first came back with a sheet of paper that only had payments and terms that were outrages. I asked for a breakdown and that is when we were told there was a $5,000.00 upcharge on the car, which is when my son should have left. They kept coming down on the payment amount and thought they had removed some or part of the upcharge, but once I received the paperwork to sign, I noticed not only did they leave the $5000.00 upcharge they added a $2000.00 extended warranty and GAP insurance. We put down almost $2,000.00 after paying off the trade in and still they financed over $31,000.00 for a car stickered at $21,960.00 This is ridiculous, and I am very unhappy with service by the sales department. The website nor the sticker on the car mentioned anything about an upcharge and feel like my son was taken advantage of. I have been trying for 3 months to get the extended warranty credited back and someone to explain the fairness of the way they operate.

Teen Dream Car
By far it is the best dealership as I stated in my review a few years ago the customer service is impeccable. This time around I bought a new Sonata for my teen and Dino was a wonderful help. I’ll let him know what I was looking for and he Delivered. No tricks or false promises like the other dealerships I visited. I was in and out in an hour. Anyone who is firm on ensuring they receive great customer service knows that once you have a great service…..you always come back…..I’ll definitely be coming back.

DeWayne at Baytown Hyundai is nothing short of AMAZING!!! DeWayne knows his cars and will go above and beyond to make sure the customer is happy. I walked in not knowing exactly what I wanted and he showed me vehicle(s) that I never thought I would see myself in. He is a very friendly person and will definitely tell you like it is. Made an appointment to have my Santa Fe serviced for a recall. had to drive 40 minutes to get there. They checked me in and waited an hour. Then the service person tells me part not available. Why did they schedule appointment with no parts in stock and waisted my day.

Jacob Middleton at Baytown Hyundai is kind, honest, and a true gentleman. I could have saved myself hours of online searching if I’d just called him first. After my daughter totaled her car, he found us exactly what we were looking for: a compact sedan in summer 2022, otherwise known as a needle in a haystack. And Baytown Hyundai is pricing them competitively; not taking advantage of its customers in this sellers market. Wonderful service
Baytown Hyundai has a very good service department. Communication to make an appointment for service was easy. Cypress Autoglass did a great job replacing the windshield at the dealership. Jarryd, the General Manager, communicated with Fez who fitted me into their schedule for the scratch paint repair service with Jason, who did a timely, wonderful repair. Thank you all for such good service!
