Shit show in Sales and Service
I went with my daughter for support as she was going to buy a new vehicle to be sure she got the best deal and as well as financing. She was looking at a 2016 Dodge Durango (Certified). My understanding of a certified vehicle is that the vehicle is to be 100% issue free and her salesman was Kevin Beck. So please hear me thru we purchased the vehicle, upon the purchase we noticed a few that were damaged and one thing that stood out to me was the rotors. The rotors were rusted (not just on the outside of the rotors on the surface) inside where the fins are that are for cooling the rotors not to get hot. I got shown a print out for that day that the rotors got turned (big deal) they fixed the things they wanted to and not the things that should have been. At that time one of the fobs (key) battery was dead so both keys went down and only one came back (someone lost or misplaced it) but was told by Kevin (salesmen) that it got mailed out and no one had a tracking # Interesting. So I wouldn’t let go about the rotors and Kevin (salesmen) said he would pick up the vehicle and bring it down to do the rotors. What a coincidence that his daughter was sick that day so my daughter had the day off so she took the vehicle down with her son. They didn’t replace the rotors but said that there was nothing wrong with them so she asked about her fob(key)and John in service (at Chrysler Jeep) argued with her (with my grandson on her hip)and he said she mailed it back (real professional). After she told me what happened that is when I got pissed and contacted Kevin (salesmen) Via text and he told me to stop texting him as he was home with his sick daughter (and I get it as I needed to protect my daughter as well). It seems like everyone has their own opinion in how to handle things and no one was on the same page. So I would ask anyone to stay clear of Salesmen Kevin Beck (he is at Chevrolet)and get everything in writing before signing any papers. I feel that it is FAIR to share my story with everyone and make people BEWARE of this dealership. The last thing is that someone was supposed to contact my daughter about the rotors and that hasn’t happened and one can only assume that it won’t. With this statement best of luck burnt your bridge here and will not be an advocate in my travels for Central Maine Motors.

Disappointing outfit
Bought a great looking dodge durango I did my own research and new exactly what I was buying. The price was good but the aftermath is hell. Signed all the papers and got home and noticed a plug in the tire big no no. They replaced that 1 tire, dumb if you ask me since the other tires have 20k miles on them. I have been waiting 3 weeks on getting my spare key fob that they accidentally kept not my fault at all but still waiting and put around the ringer to receive it. Was told the rotors were turned which is a load of crap was promised to have them replaced. Went in and was told they have 90% life left so they will not replace them. "So basically thanks for buying the vehicle but your issues are of no concern to us". Total slap in the face. I will not be recommending anyone go there for a vehicle.

Con game
We bought a vehicle in October of 2017. The experience left such a bad taste in my mouth that I am still angry to this day, with good reason. My husband and I have excellent credit, which had already been established. So, without regard for this, rather than trying for a single credit application, with the most favorable rate, they submitted our app to 6 different banks. Sheer laziness, but it gets even better. So, until October of 2019, my credit report continues to get dinged in the category of number of inquiries with a below average rating. All else is excellent or very good. Happily, my score can withstand this onslaught, but that is certainly not the point. The act of making a major purchase such as buying an automobile should not, in and of itself, excluding total debt, cost me, in addition to the payment itself, a major hit to my credit. But still, it gets even better. Apparently, they take great pride in playing hard ball when negotiating a price. Rather than a win win for both parties, one is left with a sour taste in one's mouth. So the one concession they made was to add a remote start. Here's where it gets really good. They agreed to include it as part of our agreed upon deal, but then twice tried to add the cost to our total contract price. Oops! Also, we bought an extended warranty. For this costly add on, the only item we received was the brochure. They refuse to provide the actual contract, even though the brochure itself says that it is NOT the contract. They sure did win. I will NEVER deal with them again (what the heck was I thinking in the first place?), and I am sure to share all of this info with anyone and everyone that I can. Buyer beware! Unfortunately, 1 star is the lowest rating that I can give.

Repeat Customer
I have purchased several vehicles over the last 20 years from CMM auto group. It didn't start very well but with my first purchase of a brand new car off the lot with several issues... But several years later I went back gave them a second shot.. And have purchased 3 vehicles in 8 years. They worked hard at getting the number where I wanted it on my trucks and got me into a fuel economy car. I have to say Cassie and Mike are my favorite. The service dept is awesome. Brandon is super great. Let's just say people complain about the expense of service.. you get what you pay for. I only trust CMM with my service work. They have gotten me the best deals on tires also. More than once.

Terrible service, NO ACCOUNTABILITY
CMM performed an oil change on my vehicle, shortly-after my check-engine light came on, and generally following an oil change, my screen no longer says "check engine oil", but this messaged remained and is still on every time I start my car. Another servicer observed that my oil-plug was over-torqued, because of work done by CMM. CMM is blaming the other servicer, and refusing to offer assistance even though I have had to drive down to Waterville, 2 hours away, twice, because they couldn't fix it the first time. Terrible customer service, they wouldn't return my phone calls, and kept saying that the manager would call, but he never did. I will never, EVER utilized this overpriced dealership again. I have never written a bad review, I'm a patient person, but my needs were not met, CMM was unwilling to claim responsibility for their mistake, and I know how to advocate for myself. I don't think that it's fair and to judge a person or business based on one bad experience, but this was multiple people and departments mistreating me. Never again.

Air conditioner not working after I had an engine recall done
My air conditioner not working and the engine recall was done in the winter
It was working fine before I went in for the engine
They wanted to charge me over 200 to check the Freon and said it could run up to 1500
No way would they take any responsibility
I’ll never do to them again

Most Pleasurable Buying Experience EVER!
Just purchased a Chevy Silverado 'Midnight Edition'. Matt Hebert (our salesman) was friendly, low key and a pleasure to do business with. Steve, Sales Manager, was equally as pleasant and professional. Best part .... we never felt pressured and felt that we got a GREAT deal! THANK YOU CMM, for caring about your customers enough to treat them with RESPECT and HONESTY! Already told 3 people about the dealership and our experience!

Helpful sales staff interested in helping you find what you want for a new vehicle.
I needed an up grade to a larger engine. There sales lady had several suggestion buit no pressure. Once I had selected the vehicle she expedited some modifications I wanted and even helped get the car to me when I couldn't come and get it.

Ford to Toyota!!
I had been looking to trade my Ford Focus in for something that would benefit me better ecspecially in the snow and winter...I also needed something with a specific price because I knew I was going to take a loss in my car because I paid way to much for it in the beginning. I also was trying to get my credit up for a better rate..I literally had all odds against me! I test drove a few vehicles and thought well I didn't find the one il wait..Garrett Gallagher the central Maine motor salesman explained to me that In all aspects I would best benefit from a Toyota Camey ..that would last me and be big enough to go better in snow and winter, and would make my numbers work ..I figured with all these things going against me that nothing was going to happen and I honestly thought I would test it out and hate it and feel that it wasn't much difference...I was completely wrong! I feel in love with it! It only has 30,556 miles on it and it had all the little things I've been looking for ... And to top it off my interest rate was 3-4pt lower and my monthly payment dropped!! What!! I never thought possible I would have a cheaper payment: lower Intrest rate and have everything I wanted !! Thank you again Garret and the Central Maine Team!! You guys are great!

Shady business practices
Went to CMM and viewed a vehicle i was interested in purchasing. I test drove it and was ready to talk numbers. After negotiating i wasn't fully satisfied but the sales rep said i could put a down payment on the truck and then they couldn't sell it. i filled out the buyers agreement/contract and gave a $100 deposit i went in the next day to close the deal and they sold it. They breached the contract, the managers were rude and couldn't careless about the incident. I would avoid this shady establishment at all costs! terrible customer service and business practices.

The people seem very caring and sincere
The routine service went as expected, and the transmission 2-3 shift point was checked and found to be normal for a 6 speed. And I was not charged extra for that, I was very happy
