2022 4RUNNER 5000 MILE SERVICE
I SET UP A SERVICE APPOINTMENT FOR OIL AND FILTER CHANGE FOR MY 4RUNNER. so i show up at 9am and the truck sat out back till 9.30 then the advisor comes in showroom at 9.45 tells me its all set. i specifaclly told her i wanted a oil and filter change. they rotated tires and thats it. i understand toyota thinks its ok to go 10k on oil changes. i was more than willing to pay for it. thats what i made the appointment for. so i finallyget ahold of the service manager and he hung up on me! great customer service ? i think not... this 4runner has 5210 miles on it. it will never see 10k oil changes. the light goes off at 5k. says right in the toyota service app first oil and filter change at 5k or 6 months. nice job central maine

DISHONEST - Go elsewhere!
Jeff and Bob, the two general managers, at Central Maine Toyota were extremely unprofessional, rude and sketchy towards the final moments of purchasing my vehicle. In between the time I test drove the vehicle and purchased the vehicle they put about 400-500 miles on the vehicle without any communication then tried to blame me for the issue. Jeff suggested voiding the transaction then within hours took that offer away when I requested in writing that the void would include a refund of my down payment which was extremely questionable behavior. I would highly recommend driving to Charlie’s in Augusta, Lee in Topsham, or even taking the trip down to Berlin City in Portland or Prime in Saco. There are plenty of dealerships around the state that offered the exact same price on the same vehicle when I explained to them what Central Maine was doing. I’m disappointed that I didn’t catch the sketchy behavior at this dealership sooner.

Worked hard to make the deal happen!!
Had a great experience, they had some trouble initially getting the numbers I wanted. But they fought tooth and nail eventually getting a deal struck as I was literally driving away and Devin chased me down and let me know they had an option that worked. They went back and forth for me all day and out me in a newer lower mileage truck! Thanks again guys I really appreciate the effort.

Not impressed.....
Bought a new 2016 highlander sleep last weekend. Check engine light came on Thursday and they claim they fixed it. Two days later the light came on again.....not sure this is normal for a new vehicle. My son was late to practice on Thursday and now we have to cancel the lake trip today. The sales manager said if they don't fix it we could trade it in.....WTF. Third new vehicle I've bought at central Maine and most likely my last.....not impressed

I wrote what I wanted when I made my appointment. I called to verify what I wanted done. I told the associate when I dropped the vehicle off what I wanted. When I picked my truck up, they only did half of what I asked. I wanted the inside and outside done. I asked for it to be washed, waxed, vacuumed, and shampooed. Only the inside was completed. What they did complete, was done extremely well.

Central Maine is a 5-Star Toyota dealer. Thank you to Brett Collier for a great sales experience. You made it easy and enjoyable to lease a vehicle. Honesty and straight-dealing all the way. I drove 80 miles past 3 larger Toyota dealers to buy from CMT and it was worth every mile and minute of my time. No pressure, no extra charges added on. They choose to make a fair profit on each vehicle and send the customer away happy. What a great business model ! Thank you Charlie G.
