Zeid provided great customer service while in process of buying car.
We were in parking lot of Hyundai trying to find a body shop (didn't know Hyundai Mesquite didn't have one). Armando came out and asked problem and when found out, said he would try to find us some numbers for body shops.

In the mean time we decided to look at vehicles because we had considered trading both cars in for one anyway.

Zeid was so patient and helpful. We ended up finding a car we liked. Zeid was very good at helping us navigate some the challenges we had since we were not prepared to buy a care.

He has been good about following up.

My credit was ran 5 or more times WITHOUT NOTICE after I was approved to get DISAPPEARED by ZED when all he had to do was CALL AND SAY SOMETHING OR ANSWER OUR CALL. - VERY UNSATISFIED with how my husband and I was treated HURTFUL .
I will definitely explain our experiences with this waste of day day and time MOST OF ALL FALSE HOPE

Beware
BEWARE CAR SALESMAN LIED

I purchased a Hyundai Palisade on October 31st at Clay Cooley Hyundai.

Our sales guy Daniel was very dishonest and made a promise to us that we would receive all weather floor mats if we came in and purchased the car with him.

After coming in on Halloween, their system went down for hours... (expect to be there all day)

The story changed a little bit and Daniel shared that the all-weather floor mats were out of stock and that they would have to mail them to us with our plates.

The dealership has a paper they call "I owe you" which is supposed to outline anything the dealer owes you that isn't delivered the day of purchase. When I asked why the floor mats were not on the paper, our sales guy told us that it wasn't necessary because they were "included with the car" and that he would personally make sure that they were sent via FedEx to us.

Shame on me for trusting Daniel because he was lying.

Over the next several weeks we followed up multiple times to see when we were going to receive the floor mats. Every time we followed up it was the same answer, that they were still out of stock but they would be mailed to us as soon as they came in.

5 months now have passed and we still have not received the floor mats. Today I spoke with the GM, Armando. He was unwilling to make the situation right.

Looking back, I wish I would not have bought the car at this dealership because it is clear that they do not care about taking care of their customers and hire shady sales people that live up to the stereotype of what everyone thinks a car sales person is.

We will not be coming back to Clay Cooley ever again. To

Terrible Customer Service so far
On 1/16/2024 I was driving on the Highway my 2021 Hyundai Sonata Limited when I was driving about 85 mph in the Fast Lane. My Car suddenly lost all acceleration and began to slowly decrease speed and the "Check Engine" light came on and stayed on steady. After a few minutes the car regained the ability for me to accelerate but the "Check Engine" Light remained on.
I then called Hyundai Assurance and informed them of the issue & requested someone to come check my Battery Power. AAA was sent out, tested my battery & said that his device noted I have a BAD BATTERY; however, the Alternator, Transmission and other system are getting all correct AMPS so he informed me it maybe the car shoving itself into "LIMP" Mode & from his experience requires a CPU Update for the Car itself & can only be done at the Hyundai Dealership.
After he left, I called my local Hyundai, informed them I needed an Appt. and was able to get one for 7:00 AM the following day. I did arrive at 7:00 AM with my car, was told it would be "dropped off" and would take "1-2 days" for diagnostics. I then had to have a family member come and pick me up as well as get all of my stuff out of the vehicle as I was not aware it was going to be a multi-day task nor that I requires the vehicle be "dropped off".
I did leave my car there, but asked if there was anyway I could get a "Loaner" while my car was in the shop and I was told "No, we don't have any" and told that I could contact Hyundai Assurance and request Reimbursement of any payments made for a Rental Car due to this; however, after reading multiple BAD and NEGATIVE reviews about other customers attempting this and taking over 90 days to get refunds or just flat out not getting any help; I chose not to try this. I texted the Service Center late the same day and was told my vehicle was not touched & is waiting the Shop Foreman to dispatch it to the Techs for diagnostics.
The next day, 1/18/2024, I texted asking for an update and was told the same exact thing after almost 36 hours nothing has been done.
This is extremely poor customer service & the fact that they have "No Loaners" for those having vehicles in the shop for extended periods of time like this is ridiculous. You have MANY CARS you're not going to sell, you can at least "Loan" them to people who're actively driving your vehicles and paying for their cars so they can continue to drive to work, doctors Appts. and do grocery shopping of which all are daily life tasks.
This is BY FAR the worst review I've ever had to give for any business and I don't believe I will ever buy another Hyundai in the future if this is how the Customer Service is going to continue to be. This is currently my 4th Hyundai of which the 1st lasted 10 years and 100,000 miles before I needed to replace a transmission, 2nd was rear ended in a hit and run outside of a store at Firewheel Mall, 3rd vehicle was a vehicle I had to do a voluntary repossession on because it was purchased from Fenton Hyundai in Mesquite and after finding out that my 3 Warranties I had purchased in the original contract were never started as Fenton had stolen the money and I had a fiasco trying to get plates, etc...due to them.

Do not do any kind of business with these guys or Hyundai in general. FYI if you get a new vehicle with warranty and something goes wrong you will not get a loaner car and be expected to pay rental car fees out of pocket. it's been almost 5 months since I filed the claim and it hasn't even been approved yet! Every time you come in for service they will try to upsell you on other things and are way overpriced! They are not even competent! Couldn't even figure out how or where to get a supposedly discontinued ac compressor for a 2022 Hyundai Elantra Hybrid. Took them 3 weeks to do that! I spent about $1440 on a rental for 3 weeks and still have yet to see a dime almost 5 months later. Again do some research on this people before buying or having your vehicle serviced here! Hyundai treats their customers like crap and their customer care center is just as bad! You can find plenty of posts of several people having these same type of experiences with them.

Worst Service Department
I had scheduled an appointment but no service advisor showed up to receive my car but a mechanic who wrote down the problem in the car windshield and asked me to wait in the office. I waited for 2 hours without any updates on the status of my car. I was told that there is no courtesy drop off nor loaner car available. I approached the Service manager and explained the situation. The Service manager assured me that he would take care of it, gave me his card, and asked me to call or text his mobile number. It has been 4 full work days and I have not received any updates from the manager or any service advisor. The manager doesnot picks up my calls and rarely responds to my texts, without providing any conclusive answers. Whenever I call their service staff, I am put on hold for 15 minutes with no assistance. My car is still with them for a warranty repair, and the situation remains unresolved.

Little House of Horrors
If there was a zero star I would assign that as this company's rating. Do not go to this dealer!!!
My daughter took her Sante Fe to Clay Cooley of Mesquite for a update to her theft deterrent system and an oil change. We took the vehicle in on a Tuesday. We were told they would call us after they ran the test. After they ran the test they advised the oil had mixed with the coolant system and there was no oil in the motor! I found this hard to believe since they were the last one to do the oil change. They never called back to get authorization to change the oil and flush the coolant system. Between my daughter and myself we spent literraly hours on hold or hanging up and calling back when we were put on hold.
On Thursday, after several messages, the Service Manger finally called me back and ask for authorization to change the oil and flush the coolant system and it would not take long. However, he could not give me a date when the work would be finished. Friday we called numerous times and were again repeatedly put on hold. I timed the last call and it was over 30 minutes without a response. I hung up and called back. I was not able to ever get through to the service department. My daughter needed her vehicle for a trip on the weekend, this did not happen. You would have thought 4 days for an oil change and coolant flush would be plenty of time to complete the work.
I called again on Saturday with no response event though the service was open. I called Monday numerous times without a response. I was always sent to the cashier who was extremely helpful, pleasant and responsive. However, her access was limited, but at least she tried to help. Finally, on Monday evening the Service manager called and said the car would be ready Tuesday one week later.
This was the worst customer service I have ever experienced at a car dealer.
Do not go there, it is horrible service and you may never get your car back when you need it.

Oil change
Scheduled a complementary oil change a week in advance. For full synthetic there is a $20 up charge, no problem but to take almost 5 hrs is ridiculous. I watch the technicians and they were in no hurry at all. Stay away from this place if you value your time.
Will never do business there again.

Limited knowledge and limited effort
2023 Ioniq 5 Purchased:

1. I did all my research online before buying this vehicle.
2. Was looking for a particular color combo (interior and exterior)
3. This was the ONLY dealership in 250 mile radius that had it.
4. So I was an "easy sale" I had my own financing and knew everything about the car already, no "heavy lifting" on the part of the sales team or finance team.

5. Questions leading up to delivery and after taking delivery are met with VERY SLOW response.
6. Many times the info received EVENTUALLY was incorrect. I had to research and find out via other means.
7. Will not ever take my car for service here as it is too far out of the way, but NOT confident with the staff that they are competent at all.
8. As an EV, Hyundai has a promotion with Electrify America. However the dealer is to provide you a code to access the deal in the Electrify America's app. This dealership gave me the wrong code. Also, when I asked them to follow up, the request went unanswered for 3 days and counting....still waiting on a resolution from them. As stated above, I used othe rsources, (Electrify America and others) to resolve my issue.

There just isn't a "sense of urgency" with anything they do. Slow to respond and half the time, the response is wrong or the effort was lackluster.

Shop here once, WON"T shop here twice, either way, I WON"T come see Clay!

Awesome customer experience
I would like to give a special shout-out to Zain Dab and his Group Manager John Diggs. Zain did an excellent job explaining the new car features for me during my test drive appointment. He is very courteous, patient, and knowledgeable about the new technologies built into the car. I could not have asked for a better Sales Advisor. Furthermore, John is an excellent Manager as he took ample time to answer all my questions without making me feel pressured at any point in time. John even went the extra mile to help me analyze the various options I had. Thank you Clay Cooley Hyundai of Mesquite for having Zain and John on your team of excellence.

Still waiting for resolution
My 2018 Sonata has been burning oil since about 67K miles. My husband and I have records of regular oil changes at 5000 miles with full synthetic oil. I took it to Clay Cooley and was told I needed to have an oil compression/ consumption test done and after that leave the car for a few days. They did not have a loaner car available and I was put on a list. I continued driving the car and checking oil frequently for about 2 weeks. I also called Hyundai to check if they would reimburse me for a car rental. They said they would after repairs were complete and the invoice submitted.
I September the engine started knocking and the car slowed to almost a stop on the highway. I drove it slowly about 1 mile to Van Hyundai in Carrollton and was told I could leave it and Hyundai would reimburse me for a car rental because they had no loaner cars available. It took almost 2 weeks to even get a quote for repair and was told the work was not covered by the full warranty which ended at 60K miles. The estimate was $3,578.42. I refused this and paid to have the car transported to Clay Cooley near me in Mesquite because they had performed minor services on both this car and our 2013 Sonata.
I turned in the rental and had to use my husband's car, leaving him with no transportation for a week.
The price of repairs at Clay Cooley was $1,393.66.
I called Hyundai and said they would not reimburse for the rental car (almost $1100.00).
I started the oil compression test which was completed on March 11. The car was using over 1.25 quarts of oil every 1000 miles, so it failed the test.
I was told Hyundai had to let Clay Cooley service know how to proceed from here.
I have been calling my service rep and keep getting told Hyundai needed more information and they , Clay Cooley, would call me . I have called multiple times and am placed on hold.
I called again Saturday, April 8 and asked to speak to the service manager. I was on hold about 13 minutes and was told they were busy and would call me back. I left my name and number--again but received no call.
My car now has 83K miles. Are they hoping I will give up or trying to wait out the warranty??

This is the second Hyundai I have purchased because I was impressed with the 2013 and felt good about the warranty. However; it now appears the warranty is a gimmick.
I just entered my car details on the pop-up "We want to buy your car" on the website and filled out the information. We keep getting a lot of texts and emails about buying a new car and using this as a trade-in. Obviously, they are only interested in selling cars and the warranty is worthless.
I am very disappointed and am ready to give up and contact the BBB and a lawyer to get this resolved.

Just got a pre-owned vehicle yesterday and can say that the staff of this dealership is professional, quite knowledgeable and very friendly.
