Miserable Experience.......and it still has not ended.
We purchased a used vehicle from Bojangles. Good experience initially as a vehicle in our price range was found on the lot and we were provided a test drive. We asked if vehicle had two key fobs and told likely. Paid cash for vehicle so easy to transaction, although it did take finance department substantial time to complete paperwork for a cash sale. Once signed and paid for as we were leaving Bojangles tells us they actually only have one key fob.
Within a week the check oil light appears on dashboard. We take to Jiffy Lube for oil change and are told the car has a substantial leak. We continue to to fill with oil regularly for the next two weeks at which time the check engine light comes on. Return to dealer to give them the opportunity to make it right as we thought buying from a reputable dealership like Crossroads Hyundai would provide us some security in our purchase vs. buying from a private party. Unfortunately we were wrong. We are told by Bojangles that "they cannot see the future," and vehicle issues are not something they can assist us with; even though it is now evident that the vehicle condition was know prior to the sale, because of the amount of oil that is leaking any time the vehicle is parked. Crossroads service team must have seen the oil below the vehicle as they stored it on their lot. We are offered a few hundred dollars to sell the vehicle back to them and trade for another car. Why in the world would we buy another vehicle from this dealership that has now shown how they treat their customers?

Unfortunately, that is not the end for this quality establishment. Our only option is to try and sell the vehicle on our own and start our car buying experience over again. However, Crossroads is unable to supply us with the title; even though we paid cash. We have called multiple times speaking to sales manager Hyrum and Bojangles, who cannot determine why a title cannot be found. When trying to check the title status on the CO DMV with the VIN number and sales date the vehicle cannot be found.
It has been two months and the temporary plates they provided have expired. It takes three calls to their title department over the course of a week to speak with someone else on the issue. Her voicemail box is full and you are unable to leave a message.
I cannot express enough how frustrating it has been to work with Crossroads Hyundai and would discourage anyone from shopping here, unless you have months of free time, endless amounts of patience or a masochist looking to beat your head against the wall for 8-10 weeks just to try and find a car that is driveable.

So many lies and then applying for a loan without my permission
I went to this dealership ready to purchase a lightly used Santa Fe. Their website states that the dealer's fee of $799 is included in the advertised price of the vehicle. I was told there was a military discount - not true. After wasting couple hours of my time getting all the information to run my credit and for the supposed military discount, I was finally allowed to address the price. At that time, I was given a sheet of paper that itemized the costs. The advertised price of the vehicle was raised by $450, the $799 dealer fee was added, and they told me I had to pay $1600 for the clear coat that had been applied to the car. So an additional $2849 was added to the advertised price.
I asked what the cash price would be and was told I would not be give any of the "discounts" for it being a used vehicle with 3000 miles on it. Essentially telling me that I would be expected to pay the price for a new vehicle if I paid cash. After wasting more time trying to get them to align with their own website and advertised price, I left without the car. I found out that they also ran an actual loan application with Bank of America without my permission. We never agreed on a price, and I was never going to use their financing anyway as they could not get close to my credit union rate. I will never go to this dealership again, even for warranty service.

Bad sale, bad service, not owning up & making it right, bad pressuring tactics
In mid-Sept 2023 they sold us a 2014 Ford F-150 pickup, we thought in good faith, later found out it needs $9000 to get it up to par. Before learning that, took the truck to them to fix an emergency brake problem, their "repair" made it much worse, will cost $5000 to fix. So $14,000 total needed to fix all elsewhere. Now late Dec, still trying to resolve issues, have no vehicle to drive. Was pressured to delete critical review and post a nice review. Pressuring now to have us trade in the faulty pickup truck at a loss and buy something else. They are not owning up to bad sale and bad service. They are not trying to resolve problems in good faith. Hyundai higher-ups and maybe regulators need to pay attention to this dealership. Don't buy from Crossroads Hyundai, don't get service from them.

A New Experience
I generally had a very good experience with Callie Young on the day of purchase. She was polite and prepared with paperwork that did need some revision. Unfortunately, the survey was very specific in its questioning and my rating reflected the challenge of communication and logistics involved in selling a brand new car hot off the press to a person 50 miles away and resulted in the perception of a less than stellar effort on her part. That was not my intent. She's navigating a male-dominated environment with grace,
integrity and knowledge. I would highly recommend her as a competent sales person. Wishing her the best of good fortune in the New Year!

My husband went in to buy a car and pay cash. He came home with an unwanted
loan AND unwanted extended warranty. He said finance officer just kept pushing papers at him without explanation. AWFUL experience. Buyer beware, I guess!

Poor Workmanship - Poor Time Lines
I live in Washington State. I bought my Hyundai in for repair of the right rear wheel on December 28th and it was not (completed) until after February 8th. On the way home I kept hearing a "Clump" in the right rear area. Hoping it was something loose in my trunk I proceeded home to Washington. Once home I emptied the car, took it for a short drive and the noise continues along with a noise from a spring. My local Hyundai dealer could not get me in until the end of March. Crossroads Hyundai did not put on the nut that attached the Sway bar to the control bar. Of course I needed to pay for the repair. When I sent the bill to Crossroads Hyundai, they did not reimburse the full amount! The other issue with them was they kept telling me "Next Week" for two months!

Great service on a busy day!
We went to the dealership on a very busy Saturday and were able to get helped pretty quickly. Callee showed us some vehicles that we had an eye on with absolutely no pressure. After we made our decision, she helped us purchase the one we chose. We did have some wait time for everything to be completed due to how busy it was but Callee checked in with us frequently and ensured everything was ready for us when the process was complete! It was a great experience overall.

Communication can Improve, Otherwise Good Experience
My experience at the dealership was great. I felt like I was being attended to frequently, given good information about the vehicle I was interested in, and found a great deal. However, communication after my purchase could improve significantly. It took me 9 days to get through to the financial department to receive my signed documents and financial information. It was upsetting that it took me giving a negative review to finally get the attention that I had been requesting since leaving the lot with new vehicle. With that said, a sales manager reached out to me and made me feel heard. We had a productive conversation and I now feel much better about the state of things regarding my vehicle purchase. I now have a direct line of communication and I feel like customer service went above and beyond for me.

Manipulated
The process of getting my car went smoothly for the first 80%. However, the final 20% unfortunately outweighed the majority of my visit. The sales person and I bargained and agreed upon a fair price that I felt comfortable with and signed for. I felt great about the deal and was expecting a smooth finish to the process. After this had happened, the manipulation had begun. I kept getting visits from financial representatives trying to get me to move on the initial agreement. I was under the impression that the agreed upon price was staying the same but there needed to be adjustments to my financing and down payment. I accepted these changes because it felt rushed and urgent to close on a deal and again, I felt like we established rapport and trust in each other. This is where they got me. The pricing and financing had been tweaked just enough where I didn’t see the full view until my signatures were already on the paper. The initial deal that was agreed upon had completely vanished in about 10 minutes. This would be a completely different situation if the Hyundai representatives were being FULLY transparent with every conversation throughout the process. I feel manipulated and played. I’m happy with the vehicle, but the final financial steps of the process were very upsetting.

Buyer Beware
My experience with Crossroads Hyundai was unpleasant. The salesman was not a good listener and not a good communicator. I did not get the car I wanted, but after 4 hours there, I would've signed anything to get out of there. My spouse died three weeks ago and I feel as though CH took advantage of my vulnerability. I recommend Hyundai, but not Crossroads Hyundai.
