I purchased my truck in 2019. I also purchased the repair contract and windshield protection plan with it.
1) I was told the replacement windshields cost $1500.00, because of all the electronics in them. So I purchased the protective coating for $750.
A) The windshield only costs less than $400 to replace.
B) A rock hit my window yesterday, and I ended up with a 10" crack in the window.
C) The window replacement contract from DD only lasted 5 years, (the longest term avail) and mine had expired.
So beware of that scam!
2) I've been taking my truck in since 2019 for oil changes etc. but now, every time I go in I'm told I have services that are due, that are not listed in my vehicle owners manual.
A) Injector cleanings that cost $500 and they say I should have them done every 1500 miles!?
B) Also trying to sell me other contracts while I'm there.
C) I've brought my vehicle home with greasy hand prints on the front paint, and during one oil change, no one bothered to check the engine air filter, so my engine light came on while I was out of town. (a year or so ago)

Go somewhere else
Can’t trust them. They lied to me over and over weeks and weeks. They said the purchase process would be smooth, but it turned out the car was in maintenance. 1 week turned to 2 then 3 then 4. I called multiple times per week and always got some run around answer. At this point, it seems to me they were just lying to put me on ice. Shady dealership don’t waste your time. They talk everything up to get you comfortable but won’t hesitate to turn their back and screw you over, even if it means lying.

This place has never ceased to disappoint. Absolutely incompetent from top to bottom.
I wouldn’t recommend this place for sales service or parts to my worst enemy. I will never spend another penny in this useless dealership. It’s endless how bad they are in every aspect of a dealership. Do not ever water you time or money here. The service manager finally called me today to pick a fight with me. LOL!! Thanks for the call back Lonnie Ramos. A saw Ave your dime next time.

Bait and Switch
They advertise a "sale price" online with zero information this isn't what they are selling the vehicle for. I got pre-approval for the sales price, sales tax and doc fee and then suddenly the price increased 2k on the truck because I wasn't financing directly with them. I read other reviews they charge $1,200 for a stupid blinking third tail light and try to sneak a bunch of other things into the deal last second. They also won't work with you at all online or over the phone. They make you wait in their waiting room for hours while they don't seem to do anything at all except screw around on the price. You can't get them to put anything on paper to make sense of it all because they know their practices are illegal. Please don't be duped by these guys. Avoid if at all possible but if you have to do business with them triple check everything.

Deceptive
BUYERS BEWARE (especially out of state)! In short, this dealership sells vehicles for MSRP and offers competitive pricing to entice buyers into entering into a contract with them. Once they have your deposit and your vehicle arrives, nothing can be done electronically. Anyone who is going to be on the loan must travel and sign everything IN PERSON. Additionally, you are required to finance through one of their preferred lenders and pay an inflated interest rate (on average 2 points higher than your qualifying rate) So actually, you do not pay less for the vehicle, you just pay it in interest rather than principal. Just a less transparent, or deceptive, way of tacking on an addendum. Additionally, they require you to keep your financing for at least seven months. All of this is called predatory lending, and it’s illegal and deceptive. If you express concerns or ask questions about these tactic, sales management just talks over you, interrupts, lets you know you’re wrong, and then will pull the deal because they “want to avoid receiving a poor survey returned from GM.” We had sold our vehicle (2021 Chevy Tahoe Z71) as soon as our new vehicle was delivered. So at the point of writing this review, our family of six with four small children are left without a vehicle. With the current market, it’s almost impossible to find an alternative option and it takes months to order. And, this dealership could care less about the position they put our family in or that their customer service was lacking in this transaction, or any, because they’ll turn around and sell what was suppose to be our vehicle, tomorrow. Customer service is about transparency, listening and hearing your customers, and general caring. This dealership has none of those qualities. Since we were not given the opportunity to fill out a survey with GM regarding our experience, I will be filing a complaint with the BBB, Idaho Office of the Attorney General as well as a complaint with GM.

Truck purchase on 2019 Ram
Was just looking at trucks on the lot, when salesman motions for us to visit with him. We thought it was a excellent way to get our attention, (made us smile) We ended up buying the truck andsso far liking everything about it. What nice people, we felt they listened to what we wanted and was a pleasure to work with. Fabela's

Worst experience ever purchasing a vehicle!
Worst experience ever purchasing a vehicle. No customer service, waited hours to get into finance, got tired of sitting and was told by our salesperson to sit down, because we were making people nervous! They messed up the price on a signed contract and we had to pay $5000. more. Had to return a third time to correct DMV docs. Salesperson did not know the vehicle specs and the finance department is dishonest. Will never recommend or return to Dennis Dillon.

Scumbags
Every time I have to come here, one of the fat sales guys is taking a Dennis Dillon truck to move furniture. First it was a couch, then some dresser, then a bunch of boxes. And I sit there thinking do you plan on selling that vehicle afterwards? It's not yours!
Service also sucks. Not getting any more service here.

Sales Manager VERN!...Horrible
My GM Repurchase was to be "Hosted" by Dennis Dillon....We have been working on this transaction for a few weeks with the GM Repurchase Coordinators...Finally all set to execute....I also gave a Deposit for a new Denali 2500 HD and scheduled time to pick it up....I spoke with Josh on 4/24 and informed him that I would be doing a cash sale....and not financing through Dennis Dillon. Once we started finalizing the paperwork, registration, etc,etc....Vern, whoever the hell he is, would NOT RELEASE the check that was sent by GM to me...This check had NOTHING to do with the purchase of a new truck, but solely on the Repurchase agreement..... 2 COMPLETELY separate transactions...This Jerk VERN, tells me that "we don't do cash sales"....and he would not accept the GM check signed over to Dennis Dillon, but wanted me to run around and get a cashiers check instead..... and he was under the impression that I told them the day before, when in fact I told their Salesperson Josh on 4/24, validated by the date on my check from my Credit Union....VERN is nothing more than the typical sleazy car salesman......I would love someone from the Senior Management Team team to contact me at once.....I, in good faith, waited around to counter sign the Credit Union check that i brought with me, so VERN would not have to chase me down in California for a signature.....I drove 785 miles to make this transaction happen, and VERN completely ruined your stellar reputation and opinion from a paying customer.....I should have let VERN try to get my signature after he held up my check from GM without cause. I can't wait to post these details ALL OVER SOCIAL MEDIA!.....Get ready VERN!....I'll hold my breath to see if VERN's upper Management cares to give me a call..........I also checked the box on this survey that states " I agree that GM or the Dealership can publish my response"....PLEASE DO!

Great price and great service!
Mark sold me a 2018 GMC Sierra 1500 for 16k off i didn't need to qualify for anything i just had to finance with GM Financal at a rate that was 1 point higher for 6 months than my credit union could have got me! The difference over 6 months was 223$. I saved 7k$ from my local dealership so you haters obviously dont know how to read a disclosuee at the bottom of a website when making a huge purchase! Thanks Mark and Dennis Dillon GMC for the great experience!!!

Terrible customer service
Finance guy screwed up paperwork and had to be redone . Told them i did not want the extended warranty and they put it on the contract anyway. Monthly payments were supposed to be $516.00 and on contract it was $561.00
The dealership was supposed to mail all documents and taxes to California where i lived in the interim of moving to Boise. after over a month i called DMV of California and they said that they have not received any paperwork from the dealership. I called the dealership and was informed it was my responsibility to get the registration and tags. I have bought a lot of new vehicles in my day and have never been told it was my responsibility to get the vehicle registered. When i argued with the general manager about the situation and was on the phone with him he had someone go to my wife's office and take the vehicle. I am three months into the vehicle and two payments ahead so i was dumbfounded. It seems they remove or have removed a lot of negative complaints.. here is another website that will give a good indication of the type dealership they are. https://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/relevant/dennis-dillon-gmc-boise

Terrible practices, Bait and switch, false advertising
Responded to ad for a truck. Ready to pay ad price, could not get the price unless you have a gmc credit card with 1000 dollars of usable points, AND, you must finance through them, at 8.6 percent interest!!!
Sales lady behavior, totally unacceptable, short, nonresponsive, rude and demeaning.
Would not respond to questions regarding the above practices.
Terrible experience!
Got the truck we wanted elsewhere with competitive pricing and superior customer service.
Go elsewhere, not trustworthy and could care less about customers.
