After working for dealers and other independents, Don opened business for himself in the summer of 1979 as Don’s Service in Berwyn. In 1987, Don’s Service relocated to La Grange, IL and D.M.J. Automotive was born. As with Don’s Service, D.M.J. Automotive continues to provide quality service at fair and reasonable prices.

In 2000, D.M.J. Automotive officially welcomed the next generation into the business. Jeff has a mechanical engineering background and hands-on experience with diagnostic technology to attack today’s sophisticated cars and trucks. Jeff grew up in the business starting as a mechanic’s helper. He spent his time after-school, on weekends, and summer breaks working at the shop. He has consistently shown he has what it takes to continually adjust to the ever-changing automotive industry. He continues to attend various automotive workshops sponsored by the “Big 3” and foreign manufacturers. Jeff has also earned his Master ASE certification.

In 2010, Jeff took over the family business. He continues to operate D.M.J. Automotive with the same high standards that he has grown to know.
