Oil change package
Bought the extended package that gives you additional oil changes the time before they told me that this next oil change would be the last and after that oil change I would have to pay. When I came in they told me that the package for the oil change had expired back on June 19th I was not giving this information other wise I would have gotten the oil change 3 months prior of being due.

Terrible customer service, will never return
Bought my 2nd car from them in August 2022 and have had nearly every oil change and service done with them. They have always taken too long for their oil change but I accepted this. This week, I brought my car in for oil change and tire rotation. After the rotation, my wheels were unbalanced. I brought it back and they agreed and told me I had to pay the $70 to rebalance them. It was their error that caused them to become unbalanced and should have been corrected. They told me they could also rotate my tires back and it should be fixed. After telling them I already paid for them to rotate me tires, they did say they would refund that cost.
This has not been the first time their customer service has been terrible but it will be the last. I will never purchase another vehicle or have any services done at Edwards again. I will tell everyone I know to also avoid Edwards at all costs.

I purchased my car on 9/11, and it was a certified pre-owned vehicle. I was an employee and could not leave a negative review prior to now because I could be terminated for doing so! The very first day of having the vehicle.. my passenger rear tire pressure sensor was going off with low pressure. It needed a patch as the tire had a nail in it.. which I told the sales person that the gauge was going off when I looked at the car (2019 Nissan kicks) they repaired that. I then like 2 days later noticed that my transmission appeared to be slipping between 3-4th gear. I brought it up to my sales person and had him drive it. He said oh that is normal.. it is a CVT engine..at that time also my GM said the same thing. Mind you I worked with these guys everyday so I believed them! Fast forward to a few weeks later and it is still doing it and it just felt off! So I went to the Nissan store and asked that they ride in the car with me just to make sure. So Scott the parts manager took a ride with me. As soon as it shifted between 3-4 gear.. he said ohhhh no, that isn’t not normal! Guess who needed a new transmission! Yup! Then when they were doing the transmission they noticed a leak from my engine.. welp they had to seal that and my warranty didn’t cover it so I had to pay 217.00 for it. When I asked for a copy of the certification of the vehicle the service agent asked how many miles were on it which I replied 36k and she said.. oh then they likely didn’t even do an inspection.. which I believe considering I bought a car that had a bad transmission and a leak.. and a nail in the tire.. don’t get me started on the cleaning of the car.. or lack of it! I asked many times if my fee for the leak would be covered.. even text the GM and was ignored. So if you are a customer.. know that even employees aren't treated any better.. unfortunately.

I do want to mention those that really did help me! First Carl Erwin helped me a ton with the finance side.. JO Magbanua what my actual finance guy and he is always a pleasure to work with! Scott and the service tech at Nissan (I’m so mad I cannot remember her name) they actually listened to me and were so helpful!!!! They are the reason it isn’t a worse review!

Scammers liars totally took advantage of me.
I bought a vehicle from Edwards in December 2022. They sent me off the lot with a vehicle that needed serviced 2 weeks after buying it. I continued to service the vehicle regularly when I took it in June of 2023 for a routine oil change they told me it needed an alignment, I trusted they knew what they were talking about so I went ahead and let them align the vehicle. Take note I had no problems with this vehicle prior to the alignment. Not even a month later and less then 2,000 miles after they Aligned the car we were traveling home and blew a tire. The tires were worn so bad on the inside from a bad alignment one blew and one was on the verge of blowing. We called the dealership and they said there was nothing they could do until they could see it, which I get that it’s hard to say what’s wrong without seeing it. We bought two new tires to get home took it in to them on a Tuesday morning 8:30am. We didn’t hear from them all day about 3 we tried calling and left a message because nobody answered the phone no call back waited until 4 called again no answer left a message no callback. Finally we went down there to discover they did nothing with the car never called us to tell us what was wrong when we got there they said that there was physical damage they wouldn’t take responsibility for said something was bent and the strut was bad which mind you they have had my vehicle in for regular service and never mentioned this before. They said they wouldn’t make it right so we ended up taking to another place where they stated it was clearly a bad alignment and if what they said was bent was actually bent they wouldn’t have been able to align it properly. I have never had so many problems with a dealership as I have this one and will never ever buy another vehicle from them or give them my business. They also told me my warranty wouldn’t cover any of the damage because it wasn’t a factory defect. We tried calling another Hyundai dealership to see if they would fix the vehicle under warranty and they told us they couldn’t honor our warranty because we didn’t buy the vehicle from them. It’s been a hot mess to say the least.

Worst customer service and treatment I've had in 30 years.
I'm 50 years old and been buying vehicles for my family for 30 years, and I've never had as bad of an experience as what I just had with Edwards Hyundai. Last week, I made attempt after attempt to contact them with follow-up questions and clarifying questions on a vehicle they had that I was interested in. I sent numerous text messages to a number they had initially used to contact me, as well as many, many phone calls that died on hold after 2-3 minutes. Finally after about 3 days, I had gotten a hold of someone who would maintain contact with me and we ended up agreeing on a vehicle, completed credit app, and knew the monthly payment. On that day, I had agreed to purchase the vehicle, and my wife and I called a finance manager there to go over the timing on when we'd make the 180 mile trip to purchase it. My wife and I asked two times if we needed to put down a down payment. We were told no as we were coming in to buy in 9 days. But 4 days after that phone call, I get a call and was told it was sold out from under our feet. I made a lot of attempts to get a hold of anyone with questions about this and was ignored for at least 8-9 attempts. When I finally got a hold of someone 20 hours later, they said they had no other vehicle with the same options as what we wanted...although an almost exact match has been on their website for two weeks now since the first day I called them...and was told that one is sold. Still on the website as of this writing. Don't do business with Edwards Hyundai. Save the stress.

Chris Brandt and his team
I've had a Hyundai since 2008. Then years later went back to trade that for a Hyundai Elantra. I've had services at Edwards....Chris always took care of my car problems. He explained what needed to be done. I always had faith in what he recommended. I believe in Chris and his great team at Edwards Hyundai service and would recommend Edwards to others. October I changed to a Mitsubishi outlander .... I believe I was in for an oil change in May 2023. Thank you for listening to me. His team continues to do a great job.

Everyone was very knowledgeable and courteous when I came in to look at vehicles. The staff was helpful in what is normally a very stressful situation. They took their time to explain the whole buying process to me and did not pressure me to make any unwanted decisions.

PREDATORY PEOPLE
Don’t ever take your business here, after over a week of trying to get approved I got my new vehicle and everything was good. I drive the car for maybe a week before I take it in to set serviced and detailed (normal maintenance)…my car was there for 5 days for a simple inspection and detail, come to find out they left my keys in the vehicle running and allowed it to get STOLEN!!!! They did not call me for 2 days after it happened, and left me off the police report to try and cover their end. After recovering the car there was at least! 7,000 worth of damage to the vehicle. (Scratches, dents, ripped interior, nasty smell, electrical issues) literally everything about this car was messed up now. On top of that all of my stuff got stolen out of the vehicle and was nowhere to be found when recovered. They did not care one bit. They tried to get me back into the same vehicle and push me to take it still even though it was unsafe! They also would not honor anything that was in the vehicle. After telling them I will not be taking that vehicle I was treated like absolute scum and pressured to buy just any vehicle so I could leave them alone. I was told my budget was 21,000 and I could find any car from any edwards for that price and they could make it work. I found a 2019 ford fusion for 20,889 and they told me no because they would lose out on too much money. LIKE IT WAS MY FAULT YALL LET MY CAR GET STOLEN. They finally gave me the number to their attorney and said that I can pick up my trade in and my down payment and be done with them. So now I’m back at square one I’ve been in a rental for over a month and now I’m going back to my original POS I traded in and all of my stuff gone. This place is predatory and ALL of their employees are absolutely awful people especially (Brian Purdue) used sale manager. I was treated worst then I have ever been treated at ANY business. I have been nothing but understanding and nice this whole time . But I guess that’s what gets you taken advantage of. DO NOT GO TO EDWARDS, DO NOT GO TO EDWARDS!!!!!

Finance department went the extra mile
This is a special shout out to Conner in the finance department. I bought and financed a new Hyundai Venue from Edwards this past Saturday. I didn't love the original finance terms I was presented, but it was late and I was in a bind as my previous vehicle was recently totaled so I just signed the paperwork. Three days later Conner called to tell me he found a bank that offered me a much better interest rate and more affordable payments and asked when I could come in to sign new paperwork. Conner's willingness to go above and beyond for me like he did is appreciated more than I can say. Conner is awesome :)

Motor vehicle engine went out. Kept vehicle for several months without rental until car was fixed. Got the car back and it broke down again.Service department left vehicle with out a tow for three more days. After finally reaching service department again. Claims of alternator is bad.Witch is something that they most definitely should have done at previous visits. At this point I have my vehicle tow away from your company only to find out the details given about vehicle was false. Took it to another automotive dealer. They informed me that the starter was bad on the vehicle. As of now I'm going to seek legal advice.

Ignored by service manager
I had called and left voicemail for the service manager, I have been on contact with Hyundai claims regarding my vehicle and between the two, trying to get resolutions is almost extremely impossible.
