Spent career in Dealership industry, Never had a worse experience
Having worked in the new car industry for a decade working with countless dealerships and dealer groups, I couldn’t believe the disregard for their customer and the way the situation was handled. Ford of Kirkland has gone above and beyond in earning their poor reputation within the industry.

I recently purchased a 2015 Escape (mid December) with a certified pre owned inspection filled out. The inspection noted everything as passing including automatic transmission fluid condition and did not recommend service. Upon delivery the coolant reservoir was empty due to a leaking cap, the passenger front seatbelt was cut and doesn’t retract, and the right rear door alignment was off. All of the vehicles service history is at Ford of Kirkland as well. After 3 weeks of owning the vehicle I noticed the transmission felt strange so I took it to a local shop to check the fluid condition, they noted the fluid was black and smelt burnt. The dealer didn’t have availability until mid March to look at the vehicle. Within one week the vehicle became undriveable. I towed the vehicle to Ford of Kirkland and they diagnosed the vehicle as needing a new transmission for $8700. They noted the certified inspection wasn’t relevant nor the accuracy guaranteed as the vehicle is not actually certified through Ford. I am very disappointed to have had the vehicle for less than 1000 miles and it’s no longer useable. The service manager as well as the sales manager claimed there is nothing that can be done. I feel I would not have purchased the vehicle had the certified inspection checklist been filled out accurately. There really is no reason to pay the dealership premium when the dealer will not accurately portray the vehicles condition prior to sale or stand behind the “Ford Certified pre owned inspection”. While Ford customer relations was sympathetic to the situation and offered an easy solution Ford of Kirkland’s sales manager was unwilling to cooperate.

Go ANYWHERE Else
Incredibly disappointed with this dealership. If you want five star service, go somewhere else. The car buying part is easy - you want to buy it and they want to sell it. I’ve never had that problem with this dealership. However any time I work with the service center I seem to have an issue. Last Friday I took my brand new Ford Bronco in because the soft top was having issues. I made an appointment ahead of time and let the scheduler know exactly what was going on. I went in, met with Dean, and explained it all again. He briefly looked at the car, asked me where I bought it (Bellingham Ford) which is completely irrelevant because any Ford dealership, including Ford of Kirkland, will tell you to take your Ford to any Ford dealership if you have a problem. Dean however told me there wasn’t enough miles on the car to be covered by warranty which despite sounding completely backwards is what he was sticking to. He even suggested taking a road trip and putting about 2K miles on it so he could submit a claim to Ford more likely to go through. He explained that if I said it didn’t come broken, which it did, then they could fix it under warranty and Ford wouldn’t question it. I then said I had read online about that exact trick and dealerships were claiming it to be user error so they wouldn’t have to pay for it. Dean then said “stop reading stuff on the internet.” His arrogant rambling continuously brought him back to the phrase “I’m not getting stuck with a $2,500 bill. You’ll have to take this back to Bellingham.” So, despite having purchased three cars from this specific dealership over the years I was told to hit the bricks.

I drove up to Bellingham Ford and someone came out and looked at my soft top for two seconds, snapped a part back into place and told me I was good to go. Sure enough, the roof was functioning perfectly again. When I asked how I could pay my $2,500 tab they looked at me confused, told me it was free of charge and would have been covered by the warranty anyway. They then apologized profusely on Ford of Kirklands behalf when I told them what had happened.

I shouldn’t have to take three hours out of my only day off because a dealership is being petty about me finding a car somewhere else (Ford of Kirkland is marking their Broncos up $30K by the way) but they refused to help me, or even have an educated individual look and see if it was something simple so my one day off was ruined because Dean didn’t want to get stuck with what he incorrectly presumed would be a fat bill.

I called to speak with Dean after and got the run around. I told the person I was speaking with that I would be leaving negative reviews so people would be aware of their poor service and they then asked if a couple hundred dollars would prevent me from doing so. Just make sure you consider bribery in their dealership ratings before dealing with this dishonest group of misers. I wonder what their rating actually would be if they weren’t willing to pay people to not post honest reviews.

You can buy a car for a good price from pretty much any dealership. If you want that and good service, go somewhere else.

broken contract then case ignored
I paid a down-deposit in July 2020 and placed a formal special-order in March 2021 for a Ford Bronco First Edition (only 7k produced). After many production delays, and a 1-week delay on the estimated delivery date, it was delivered on Oct 30, 2021. I was out of town on business and asked Ford of Kirkland to hold it for 3 business days until I returned. However, Richard Ewing (Sales Mgr) gave approval for it to be sold to another customer for over MSRP (I was guaranteed MSRP). When I contacted Hamid Musazay (Gen Mgr), he falsely claimed that I had missed 2 sales appointments and thought I didn't want it. When I contacted corporate, they pushed me to a regional office, who never contacted me. Ford of Kirkland ignored my sales contract and lied to me in order to make a bigger profit on this highly-anticipated vehicle. Corporate has ignored the case. I will not be buying a Ford.

Read the reviews they seem accurate at 3 stars or less
Order 2022 vehicle lateJune, crickets from sales, no communications. In August I pushed them and basically they said not to bother them until its scheduled so now in november......I'm finding ford reps all over the country pro actively calling similar people with vehicles on order with adaptive steering telling the people like me, who didn't go to ford of kirkland that their vehicl e will never be built unless they drop adaptive steering. The point is dealers and ford reps all over the country who care about their customers are communicating and trying to help.........just not ford of kirkland.

Terrible Dealership Do not waste your time or money here
I Love Ford & Ford products, But I will never waste my time with this service department again. The techs may be ok, but I dont see how they could work for such a rude, unprofessional
Office & management staff. You would get a warmer greeting from a robot than these guys & better help resolving your issues at a Wal mart.
Save your time & money & go some where else.

Excellent dealership, excellent inventory, excellent service, and excellent experience.
Nima was fantastic to work with! He was very upfront and transparent about hird products and their process. The team was great. I would highly recommend Nima and his team at Ford of Kirkland.

I chose Nima because of his positive reviews
It has been over 20 years since my husband and i have purchased a car. I was unsure of what kind of sales person i would encounter. So I’ve decided to look at the online reviews, Nima had the most and best reviews, we decided to trust all those customers feedbacks and get to work with him. We were please with Nima who treated us warmly and was available to answer questions. Nima made us feel comfortable and important. He did an excellent job getting us the Ford Expedition we wanted. Richard, The general sales manager was sharp like Nima. We are planning on returning soon to purchase a vehicle for my husband. I would highly recommend Nima at Ford of Kirkland.

Looking to buy a Ford? I truly feel like this dealership is on my side
Nima & Erik are hands down the best. By far the quickest auto buying experience I’ve ever had. I purchase more than 16 trucks and I truly feel like this dealership is on my side. They did everything they possibly could to help me. I’m so glad I decided to get a car here. They earned a customer for life. Thanks again Nima, Erik & Ali for the amazing service and care. BEWARE before buying
On Saturday 9/26, I purchased a used Land Rover from Jason at Ford of Kirkland. Monday morning I went to work and the car started losing power and making a loud knocking sound. I called Ford of Kirkland and waited on hold twice for an extended period of time before hanging up and calling a tow service to tow it back to Ford of Kirkland.

After the car was towed back to Ford of Kirkland, I spoke with the guy who performed the towing afterward. A service manager told the guy doing the towing that they had expected the car was coming back! These guys obviously took the car in on a trade, figured out it was a dud, pieced it back together, and then tried to sell it to the most inexperienced car buyer possible. Jason, the salesman, seemed to be laughing as I left and it felt really uncomfortable.

From the beginning, when I went to purchase the car, I asked to get an inspection report before signing any documents. Jason, the apparent new salesperson, told me that the 187 point inspection report wasn't available until Monday, because the service manager didn't work on the weekends. I liked the care and wanted to buy it, so I asked to not sign any documents without seeing the inspection report. The car had high mileage and was an expensive car to fix. I had Jason, the salesperson, call my husband and I was extremely skeptical of why the report wasn't available. Anyone at the dealer should be able to view an inspection report when selling a car. Jason finally committed that I could take the care home and on Monday he would send the inspection report over and if I didn't like it could return the car. It's now Monday night, we've called multiple times and no inspection report and no return call from Jason.

On another issue, I have great credit and somehow they ended up charging way more than they should have on the interest rate. Jason also threw in a $250 theft insurance which I didn't realize. Theft insurance is totally bogus since virtually every insurance pays for theft.

Read the rest of the reviews on Ford of Kirkland, if you sort by worst reviews first, you'll see that these same issues are a pattern with Ford of Kirkland. Jason at the Ford of Kirkland sells mechanically flawed used cars. Ford of Kirkland overcharges on interest rates so their sleazy used car salesman can make higher commissions and then laugh at you as you are walking out the door. Jason, at Ford of Kirkland, should not be allowed to sell cars if this is standard practice. As previous reviewers have mentioned, the Ford of Kirkland managers should all be fired for being corrupt. If sleaze bag used care salesmen have gotten a bad name, its because of places like FORD OF KIRKLAND! Do Not Buy from Ford of Kirkland....

My husband Bob and I just purchased our third vehicle from Todd Ireland.

Always low pressure, listens to what we are looking for and which vehicles would meet our needs and desires.

Very knowledgeable about the vehicles being offered and very accommodating.

We also get the vehicles we have purchased there, serviced there and appreciate Jim on the Red Team (not sure if they still use the teams) he is who we count on and he has never disappointed.
