been having issues for several months with my 99 Ford explorer I pulled into Freddy's just looking for a few answers they handled me right away got me going gave me a discount because I'm on a limited income. was able to fix my issue and get me back out within a few hours very considerate showed me the parts that were defective and showed me why they were defective just excellent the staff was very professional and extremely well Mannered

Unreliable Repair
We were traveling with a motorhome towing a pickup .We stayed the night in Clovis . The next morning , the battery was too weak to start engine . I jump-started the motorhome with the truck . Drove to Freddy's .They hooked motorhome up to a charger. They checked alternator every 1/2 hour . They thought problem was a bad alternator , then it might not be the alternator , then they decided it was the alternator & it needed to be replaced .They pulled the alternator & took it to a parts house , to get a matching alternator . Came back with an alternator , that Freddy said was a little lower voltage than mine , but it should work fine to get me back home . It was installed & I was assured that it was working fine . I hooked up truck & we headed west . About 80 miles down the road , I turned lights on . As I drove along , the lights kept getting dimmer. I finally had to turn the lights off , to keep engine running until i could get to a safe place to get off the road & spend the night . In the morning , I took cover off engine & saw that only one hot wire was hooked to the alternator . The rest of the alternator wires , had not been hooked up & were just laying loose on top of the engine . I knew that if this was the correct 3 wire alternator for my engine , then Feddy's mechanics had not bothered finishing hooking it up . But it turned out to be a 1 WIRE ALTERNATOR which would not work correctly in my motorhome . So I paid $445 to have the wrong alternator installed , my battery charged & to get 90 miles closer to home before the battery died .

Quick, great prices, and great customer service!
They were able to get me in same day for a tail light repair. I got the wrong light so they called up someone and got me the right one within 5 mins. The receptionist was super nice and helpful. The staff know what their doing which is refreshing and you dont feel like you are getting scamed. My car was ready within an hour. Definitely will be returning if i need any other repairs done!

Rude staff, and unprofessional
The company is a rip-off. Freddy's wife is rude as can be. If someone goes in to speak to him, she will come up with whatever excuse she can in order for you not to speak to him, they talk behind your back, and do not do their work properly. I definitely would not recommend this shop to anyone, please whatever you do, do not go to this place, it is awful.
