Horrible customer service for a 90K vehicle
My In-laws recently purchased a GV80, spending close to $80K. They were sold based on the safety ratings and the sales team assurances of “outstanding” customer service. They tried to sell them a $4000 extended warranty on a brand new vehicle that they declined. They noticed a $4000 debit from their bank account and called to clear up the mistake. They were told the money would be returned in two weeks. Two weeks passed and no refund given. They called to speak to the GM and no return call received. I personally went with them to try and clear this up. We were met by the finance rep that acted like this was all new news to him. He was very combative and argumentative causing extreme distress to my 75 yr old mother in law. I’m sure he will be losing his kickback for this attempt at thievery. Very unprofessional to say the least. I would never recommend this company to anyone, not even my worst enemy!

Kendall, my sales professional was amazing, the dealership not so much.
The dealership itself was inadequate for the services they tout. The sales professional, Kendall was kind, and extremely helpful. I understand issues fall through the cracks sometimes. It happens to the best of everyone. This dealership is soon to be moving into a separate Genesis lot, which I feel will be most helpful. But the problems I had, outside of Kendall, ran the gamut of people and departments. Hopefully, once their new dealership is up and running, the unfortunate problems and disappointments I dealt with personally will have been sorted.

I will not purchase from this dealership again.
Too many issues to go into, but lack of knowledge and transparency is my biggest complaint. For all the talk about how wonderful a Genesis dealership is, I did not find this to be true in any of the 3 Genesis dealerships I was in. This particular dealership ended up being the worst of the three.

I want to personally apologize for the lack of luxury experience during your recent purchase with us. Kendall is brand new to our team and is currently undergoing the proper training to become a Genesis ambassador. Plans are underway to open a new, stand-alone Genesis store with the goal to eliminate the issues that you faced during your experience. We believe that Genesis customers should be subjected to an entirely seamless and personalized experience and we failed at providing that for you. I would like to make it up to you by offering a detailed delivery with one of our trained Genesis ambassadors to make sure that you understand and feel comfortable utilizing all of the technology and equipment that comes with your new GV80. I will also offer your two extra fuel fill-ups for the inconvenience. 

Also, I am personally asking for you to rescore Kendall simply because the facilities and lack of amenities are purely out of his control and the failed survey harms his standing with Genesis USA. If you feel that he does not deserve it, I understand and know that he is being trained to be able to liase and assist customers such as yourself.

Great car! Sales experience could have been smoother
I love my G80 - I really do. Genesis has some work to do with their Concierge services in terms of shopping for it. In addition, at my particular dealership, while the people were all spectacularly nice, their work processes from preparing documents to getting the car cleaned can use a lot of improvement.

From the time I ordered the vehicle I was notified about delivery dates. Ed helped me to customize my specific car.
He kept in touch with me during the last year we had with Covid waiting for the cars to ship. My car was delivered before the delivery date.
