Nit the same shops it use to be
This shop no longer has the best interest of the consumer in mind and seems to have transformed into a shop that’s going to try and gouge you with unnecessary repairs and services. When Jouri was the service manager I always got good service. If I called with a question about my cars or wanted a quote I would get a transparent answer. I took my Mini here over two year period and spent roughly $13k here, I’ve referred all my friends with older European cars in the area to come here. That’s will not be the case anymore. I called today (8/2/22) because my 2011 Audi A6 seems to be leaking a green fluid from the front of the car. I called because I wanted to verify the color of Audi power steering fluid after looking up some info on the web. The guy instantly tried to schedule an inspection (which costs $100+) without even answering my question. I pressed him and he said well it could be a lot of things the color could have changed in the ground. Now I don’t know how to fix a car but I do know chemistry and I know hydraulic fluids are mineral oil or silicone based with some anti wear compounds like ZDDP(zinc based compound) plus ethers, glycols, stuff like that. Pretty much all this stuff turns what ever the color the fluid is dyed + brown -> black depending on how dirty, contaminated it is plus my car has only been serviced at Audi Seattle before with only OEM fluids used. I confronted him on this and asked if he could just tell me what color it is. He refused saying well we will still check it out it could be something else, and then the dude had the gall to say “so what time works for you to make an appointment” and get me in the shop. I said I think I’ll call a few other shops first to see if they will tell me the color. The guy then got defensive and told me all shops are going to have me come in cuz it’s better business. To which I politely said “im sure but I’ll call around first”. After I hung up I called Lake City Autoworks, Buttera Motors, AND Audi of Seattle. All of them, without coercion answered my question and didn’t try and schedule me for an inspection. German Autocenter has lost a loyal customers who referred many friends to this shop.

Will return again for all service in the future
The dealership told me a couple serious repairs were needed on my VW when I took it in for a simple brake job. I took it to German Auto looking for a second opinion and hopefully a better price. They discovered that the dealer was wrong and only 1 repair was needed, which they did for less than the dealer’s price. The other was actually something different, very minor and extremely inexpensive. I am incredibly grateful! Everyone is very friendly, helpful and really knowledgeable. They have my business going forward.

Brought my BMW in for repair great service found the problem with the alternator reasonable price for repair I would recommend them to anybody
Great prices on my repair of my BMW. I replace the alternator and the belt best service I've been to in a very long time

They are untrustworthy and misdiagnosed my bmw...when the car kept dying they said it was a bunch of stuff like coils and talked me into not doing an oil change even though the oil light was on...they said it was my oil sensor was broken.Well replaced coils and brake pads...they never clear sensors after the brakes and coils weren't the problem...after going somewhere else they changed the oil and said the sensor was fine and guess what...my car doesn't die now...they literally lie just to try to pump there checks....BTW they also broke the cig lighter thing that u can plug GPS in too...NEVER GO THERE...OR NOW U R WARNED...
