AC done open exactly the price he stated

I went in to get information about getting my trucks AC fixed. I was informed my truck doesn’t have a filter in the dash like MicroImports told me it did. It would only cost me between $250 and $500. Mark showed me on the computer that my truck does not have a filter in the dash for the AC. I waited two years (saving money and almost dying in the heat) before I decided to have Griffith automotive look at my truck. MicroImports told me it would be $1300-$2000 (filter replaced) and if they cracked my dash it would be possibly another $1000.00. I saved my money. Decided to go to Griffith automotive because I heard about it on 790 (Garrett Lewis) radio station. And a couple other people suggested Griffith. So I gave them a try. It only cost me $476. They even showed me pictures of the screen that was blocked not a filter, it took them three hours to clean out the screen and then showed me a picture after it was cleaned. They did an absolute wonderful wonderful job. I will start taking my truck to these people from now on. I have been going to MicroImports since 1999. I will no longer go there. Griffith automotive is the place that I will go to from now on. I have recommend and passed out their cards on many people. no They saved me a minimum of $700 up to $2000. A minimum of $700! They clearly explain-and show you on the computer – and pointed it out to you in person. I waited a little bit after the repair to make sure the AC is working great in my truck.still is❗️ I now smile when I drive. I don’t mind going anywhere in the afternoon in Tucson anymore

DO NOT GO IN THERE!

This business could be workable for some.. they have the potential to be an excellent place to take your car and Mark, has great knowledge..HOWEVER! Their work is SLOPPY and I have had to go back too many times.. I have spent over 10k with them and finally I have become disillusioned with the service specially after I got disrespected by one of their employees Jesse and now I do not trust these people.
Every wheel alignment on three of my cars had to go back for adjustments.

Mark has not done what he said he would many times with calling me back and I had to call him.. the last time his assistant Lisa took the phone and gave attitude to me because I called and needed to speak with him before the end of the day and there was no call back.
They have charged me and not completed the work that was supposed to be completed. I have caught them over charging.
when I first started going there, I was told how much they loved us and how they were going to take care of us. BS!!
after the last time there, I developed a terrible oil leak in the general area.... what a coincidence!
they have repaired a power steering box for me and now the steering wheel will NOT turn unless I am in forward motion and the car is moving REALLY!!!?? and I have not even told them this because I have just got off the phone and left a message that they are FIRED!
the lastest.... I paid 700 dollars to have my power steering box rebuilt which is more than I think necessary, and had to go back twice for adjustments and then a major oil leak developed and also the power steering box itself is now leaking and I called and asked to speak with Mark about it and was not called back and now I am forced to have it done over and then asked to get reembursed... what kind of luck am i going to have with getting my money back from a company that does not admit that they have dropped the ball and then speak with my partner in the manner that they have by making up stories about us.. this is terrible!! MARK will say how much he loves people and then does not willing care about if his customers are safe in their cars after he does not do the correct work... and this mechanic Jesse has messed with my car and I cannot prove it as usually people cannot but know what happened..
at least I know that there is a higher authority that is watching. and I am about to make a BBB complaint about this company as the first step and there have been plenty of people that have complained with the BBB.. check it out.

I am about to take action and find out what I can do about this with the proper authorities including the BBB the attorney general.. I am on this and I am PISSED!!!5mar

Unnecessary expensive work. Problem made worse.

This was a horrible experience. Jon of Discount Tire referred me to Griffith Auto Repair, with a 15% off alignment promo card. Griffith Auto turned out to be the most incompetent and dishonest repair shop I have ever been to! Other shops charge $50 -90 for alignment, Griffith charged $157.73 (15% discount included).

After multiple appointments because Griffith didn’t have the parts, and charging me for work that my car did not need, with total payments of $2,500+. Not only the original problems were still not fixed, but my car was in worse shape.

I went to a third party and got both problems all fixed for $205, and it had nothing to do with the expensive repairs Griffith did or recommended.

This just shows, how incompetent and greedy Griffith repair is: even when you have an appointment, he does not source the parts until you and your car are waiting in his shop. He has no problem wasting your time and taking your money.
I will be reporting Griffith Auto to the Better Business Bureau with a formal complaint.

Very unprofessional.

I made an appointment for 10:00. I called the day before and provided all the information that they needed to do a simple stud replacement. My son has performed this work many times and it usually takes him about 30 minutes. When I arrived I was told that it would take about 1.5 hours. After observing my truck still sitting across the street 1.5 hours later, I questioned the owner and he stated that it would be 1.5 hours after they ordered the new stud which they did not order until I arrived. When I complained, the owner was very condescending and simply stated, "God Bless You" as he walked back into his office. He also stated that I needed all new Nuts for my right rear end. I took my truck to Discount right away and the manager, John, said that it was hogwash!!

We Finally found a trustworthy place for repairs

Mark Grriffith and his team are a very good place to have your vehicles repaired. They fix it right. The first time with no surprises. They were recommended by our associate pastor and did not disappoint.Thank God for The Griffith team!

Would give zero stars, shop totaled classic car

We trusted our 1968 Chevy Nova to Griffith Automotive in July 2021. The tech crashed our car causing significant front end damage to the point where the car had to be totaled. The owner Mark is your typical new car salesmen that really talks up himself and his business to the highest standard even after what was done to our classic car. Mark was out of town when this incident occurred and did not have the decency to reach out upon his return, I had to contact him. When I went to meet him face to face he drove me to where he parked my crashed car which was outside in the rain. He assured us that the next day the car would be parked in the body shop. However this was not the case, I went that next evening and the car was sitting in the rain. I called Mark and he said the car would be moved into the garage within the next half hour (this was at 530pm). It rained that night and we went by the following morning at around 930 and the car was still sitting in the rain. My husband then went to Griffith Automotive to speak with Mark. Mark fabricated a story saying that the insurance adjuster had gotten numbers together that morning and that the car was repairable but that it was a conflict of interest for them to repair it and that it needed to be moved to a different shop. The car was moved immediately to a different shop per my arrangement. I called and spoke with Griffith Automotive‘s insurance adjuster and was told that no one had talked with Mark that morning and that they legally could not tell me who to let repair my car. Mark also insisted the car was repairable and that the frame is fine, which turned out to not be true. If you take your car to this shop just be aware of the owner and type of person he is. There was no mechanical failure in this vehicle, this was fault of a tech that took the car out on a joyride. The pictures and police report tell it all.

Best shop in Tucson

This shop just finished working on my 1998 Honda CRV .finished on time as promised.Tony and the techs have the knowledge to get the job done , workmanship was excellent, I'm beyond pleased and will return in the event that anything else fails on my car. Pricing is fair it was a pleasure dealing with them. Thanks again Tony and crew.

Honest, Knowledgeable, Experienced, Excellent!!

Customer service is A+++. If there was a rating above 5 stars, I would give that! Last year another business recommended that I go to Griffith Automotive for an alignment. Last year they aligned my car & it was excellently done. Last week, I had a quick oil change at a place near my apt. They had my oil change records, did a quick inspection & gave me a list of repairs. Because I was so positively impressed with Griffith Auto, I told them what the repair list said. They told me to bring my car in & they would give me a free inspection to make sure that my car needed that particular work & parts. The timing belt needed replacing bc it was very old. My car had also been making a squeaking sound (maybe belts) & something felt loose under the hood. When Griffith Auto changed the timing belt, they noticed that the motor had old bolts thereby making the motor loose. Other parts & the belts needed tightened. I would''ve lost my engine & car. Griffith Automotive not only did an excellent job on replacing my car's timing belt, they also tightened the loose parts in my car at no additional charge. They were less expensive than the other quote and they told me I didn't need a couple of parts the oil change business had said I should get. Griffith Auto inspected & gave me a list of the work that would need to be done in the future (I have an older car), & let me know the order of importance of the maintenance I needed. I can definitely say that I will be having them service my car. They won me as a customer with their friendly & knowledgeable staff. They're honest & fair. They are very experienced & professional. They care about their customers. They guarantee their work & gave a lifetime warranty on the parts. I highly recommend Griffith Automotive Repair Service. They're worth more than 5 stars!!!

When Griffith Automotive was recommended to me by a neighbor, I only heard good about this business. This customer received more than what is/was expected. Mark the owner and staff gave uncompromising excellence which they promote in respect, value and service. Welcoming, accommodating and efficient

I've taken my truck twice to Griffith automotive and since the first time felt a sense of genuine trust. It has been a challenge in who to trust to fix my vehicle. I was due for another oil change and it was 5:15pm when I called yesterday. After inquiring about hours if operation, it turned out the lastet appt was 4pm and closed on weekends. I hung up thinking I would have to find new place. I called back to ask what type of oil was used and he (owner) quickly answered and I asked how he knew when I hadnt given my name. He stated that he knows his customers and when I told him I couldn't return due to hours he said I could bring it in right then. The accommodation was so helpful with my busy schedule and it felt safe going back to Griffith Automotive. I really appreciate the feeling of having someone to trust to fix my truck!! This family owned business treats you like family. They also have an awesomely comfortable waiting room!!
