Very good except I was able to source a hybrid battery for my Ultima from much less money with a 36 month warranty, including installation
Overall, my experience with Guilford Texico has been positive. Aside from the hybrid battery issue all my mechanical work and things that I’ve done in the past were great. I was able to source a hybrid battery from All Green tech with installation for considerably less but the dealbreaker was they have a 36 month warranty and Guilford Texaco could only offer a 30 day warranty. It was a no-brainer to go with All green tech.

Great experience with car repair
Guilford Texaco provided a very good experience with my car repair. Very friendly on phone, tow driver was patient and helpful, and repairs were done quickly.

Unscheduled repair
Early one morning I limped into Guilford Texaco after having a problem on the highway. I left a note and my keys. Later that day, I was called with a diagnosed and estimate. By the end of the day, my car was fixed.
Although the prices seem to be increasing, I think they are competitive but given the current state of our economy they are fair.
Fortunately, I have not had many occasions for auto repair, but over the years, when I do need one, Guilford Texaco is my go-to facility. Very pleasant staff, good work and very efficient.

convenient, but prices increased
the last time i brought tires there to have them mounted / balanced it was $150. this time it was $220 after all was said and done. there was a leaking valve that was not addressed the first time which they resolved for free which was awesome, but i may have to look for a cheaper option in the future.

Had a great deal of work done on my Honda Pilot.
I was recommend to do a great deal of work on my car after having taken my car to the same dealership over a few years. The dealership told me that the Pilot was worth $ 500.00 and tried to sell me a CRV model because they said there was $7,000.00 plus repairs due on this vehicle.
I took it for another opinion and the work that Guilford Yexaco recommended was similar but added front & rear breaks for nearly half the price. I hadonly 139 miles
