Repair estimate - check engine light
New to Salem and needed an honest automotive repair shop. Saw a TV ad for Harold's and read the reviews on-line and decided to try them out.
They did a diagnostic and diagnosis in about an hour. Provided not one but two honest quotes for my repairs, and they weren't pushy when I said I needed some time to decide. Would recommend Harold's Quality Auto Repair

Got it right eventually
Took truck in for evap issue. Found out I had a random misfire code that wasn’t unaware of .Replaced plugs. Upon my drive home had worse misfire. Next morning they got me right in and added better spark wires. That seemed to do the trick. Haven’t gotten around to the evap issue- obviously truck runs in current state. When check engine light comes back on again for evap (P0446) I’ll consider taking it back. They’re very friendly, clean shop- open bay building.

Tune Up and Repairs
Requested work was completed in a timely fashion. Viable suggestions were offered by Harold's to correct/or not the issues at hand. Cost was reasonable. Vehicle smelled a little oily in the passenger compartment but maybe that was a result of indoor parking. Also I noticed the auto door locking system was not working as usual. Doors locked but lights did not flash and neither did the horn beep. A quick follow up visit was unsuccessful in finding the problem. I had not been driving the car much but discovered a few days later that the hood had not been properly closed. That fixed the door locking issue.

Fast and friendly
Needed an oil change for my diesel truck and a rear indicator light replaced. They took me right away and I had everything done while I waited. Great service, quick turnaround and friendly staff. Would recommend to my friends and family!

Very nice, but have a question concerning the second payment.
Thought I paid for everything on the second visit, including the part that I had to return the next day for on the third visit.

The Part that was originally ordered, was not the complete part that was needed, your vehicle required a housing that included a sensor and not just the thermostat.
