7 days later and still no call about whats wrong with my car or a plan to fix it
Before you ask. Yes I had an appointment. I had to wait 2 weeks to get on the calendar and now its been there a week and have called and gotten the we are looking at it, texted and gotten no response and even showed up un-announced with still no information. Why would I ever purchase a Hyundai if it can never be serviced in a timely manner? Guess I need to live in a different city if I want good Hyundai service. The experience date below is as of 7 days and I'm still waiting so I can come back and update it if it ever gets fixed.

Lost keys, no calls
So my car has been here awhile, I’m in the same boat that millions of Americans are in where money is scarce and our time is limited. When my car broke down, it initially went to a shop closer to home but they advised taking it to a Hyundai dealership because the issue it was having was apart of a recall. 6 months later I was denied the settlement, despite the failures being caused directly BY Hyundai, and I find myself with a broken car that I don’t have the money to fix. Now I’m sitting here trying to get it to a scrapyard, and Hatchett cannot pick up their phones or return my calls for DAYS. I also notice they’ve had 3 or 4 head of service department, one lost my keys when it was first towed there but after describing my lanyard they were able to locate my keys. Months later, they’ve apparently lost them again which puts my car’s junkyard value back a few hundred dollars. I’d really like to scrap it and be done with Hyundai once and for all and never step foot on that awful property, but it seems like they know and are refusing to let me just be done with it. I have exes that are easier to deal with for God’s sake. The *only* thing I will be recommending about this place to my friends and family are to file a complaint on my behalf so that maybe Hatchett will finally notice.

Slow, slow, slow!!
Made an appointment for an oil change, several weeks in advance. Took longer than two hours to complete. Also, it’s my last oil change and they tried to talk me into spending a bunch of extra money for extra services that I don’t need……guess they are trying to pay for their remodeling!!

I was told to call before my car hit 100,000 miles
Made an appointment but Coy got me in earlier by a week. I thought I was getting the car looked over for wear and tear because of the double gasket that happened years ago and my car seems to be louder because of it. They did get my car in as scheduled but only had my oil checked and topped off. In which I was told everything looked good and oil level was good well that was because I saw them top it off. Don't like being lied to and didn't like the fact of driving 148 miles ( one way) for them just to check the oil level and be lied to at the same time. Very disappointed and it's no wonder why my daughter will not use this facility. I guess they didn't want my return business or recommendation. I'm sure my voice doesn't count for much since they seemed very busy. I wouldn't have ever had my oil changed here if I knew they were going to treat me like this after they screwed up and left the old gasket for the oil filter on and put the new one on top of it which ran the oil out and not having the oil light come on didn't know it was out of oil and the engine kept cutting out.

STAY AWAY
WATCH THEY WILL REPLY THAT THEY’RE GOING TO REPORT TO GOOGLE. Too bad I already made sure word got back to Mr. Hatchet. These reviews are for people to leave HONEST feedback. If you don’t like it then improve your behavior. This experience was TERRIBLE. Let me walk you through it. We went Friday and looked at cars. Worked with Sam. Test drove a used 2020 Hyundai Palisade and let him know we had some more looking around to do but we’d be in contact. We went to several dealerships including the west Hyundai dealership. There we looked at 2022 Hyundai Palisade. We decided to call Sam and let him know we were interested in the one out East. On the phone we let him know that we had seen others and looked at some online, and found some similar, If not the same for a less price. We let him know we had trade ins and would bring them in. So now it’s Saturday and we’re at the dealership. We arrive and we meet Sam and his manager Doug. We show them the trade ins (2) and let them know we first want to see what they’d give us as trade in. Doug then asked who our loan was with on our current vehicles. My father in law asked him why that was important, as we just want to know what they’d give us. Doug did not like that and immediately got an attitude. They go out and walk around the vehicles and look inside. Never drive them, never lift the hood, just looked at what was visible. The two come back in and Doug tells us a price. We let him know we’ve been offered more at other dealerships but didn’t take them there because we wanted to do business here. Doug let us know that he “would rather us take our vehicles somewhere else and come back and buy his Palisade so he doesn’t have to deal with it”. He refused to negotiate on trade AT ALL and said he would not come off the price on the Palisade either. When we told them there were others priced lower with less mileage he just continued to talk down to us as if we were less than. We told him we would take our business elsewhere and he had the audacity to tell my father in law “advice for when you go to the next dealership, be nicer!”. US DOUG?! Take a piece of your own advice. Worst experience EVER and that’s saying A LOT. Doug comes off as an entitled and arrogant child. He does not like when you know what you’re doing. My father in law came Because he used to work for dealerships and knows the games they like to play. Well Doug, I’m sorry your attempt to screw us failed. We left and went and bought a Palisade somewhere else. So jokes on you sir. You and Sam lost a deal. From what I’ve heard, we’re not the only ones Doug has treated like this either. Beware!

VERY DISAPPOINTED CUSTOMER
Brought my 2020 Sonata in on Aug. 4th because my engine light was on. Zach from service desk helped me. He said the engine light was a coming on for no reason, nothing wrong with engine and they were going to go ahead a do some recall fixes on car. Left dealership to do shopping and engine light came back on. Brought car back to dealership where Brogan helped me. He said a sensor was out on my car and couldn't pronounce the name of it but she would get it ordered and call me when it came in. After 3 weeks I called on Aug 23 and lady I talked to couldn't find anything about my car needing sensor but would check with parts and call back. 30 minutes later Brogan called me up and told me the sensor was in and to come in on Friday August 26 at 3 PM and get the sensor fixed. I delivered my car at 3PM and came back 2.5 hours later to find out they gave my car an OIL CHANGE!!!!! MY car was there to get a sensor replaced!!!! I talked with Elizabeth Combs and we decided for me to bring my car back on Friday Sept. 2 and to call her on Monday and keep calling to get ahold of her. I have called several times and left several messages and am getting NO WHERE. Meanwhile my engine light is still on. I just want my car fixed. Obviously, they don't care about their customers or about returning phone calls. Never buying another HYUNDAI and WILL NOT RECOMMEND anyone to buy from or get vehicle serviced from this dealership!!!

Timing Cover Repair
Cole identified leakage from timing cover while performing safety recall (valve cover gasket oil leak onto alternator). Coy and Cole offered to repair for a very attractive price. Provided vehicle for family use when repair time took longer than planned. Returned my vehicle to my home once repair was completed and exchanged with their vehicle. The repair appears to have been successful per my monitoring for further leakage on garage floor.

This team, you can tell sets high standards for each employee that is seen through how each staff member treats each customer as family. Repeat customers are the best, unless it’s your car that is repeating breaking. The team is great to work with, but the less you see your dealership the better with a new vehicle.

Fairly quick for service
Scheduled an appt online and when I arrived, the facility was packed. Was hard to maneuver the parking lot since they had around 10 cars lined up at the service doors.
Went in, got checked in and luckily they acknowledged my appt time and put my car in the necessary spot for service to be provided in a timely manner.
