Horrible service
This location is by far the worst. 2 hours for an oil change each and every time makes no sense plus the condescending service techs does not help, this is a constant thig at this location, not to mention if you have any issues with your vechile as my sister did with a faulty battery on a 1 1/2 year old car we had to have the car jumped 2 times just to get it to this dealer just for them to call 2 days later and say call your insurance or take it to a different location because basically they didn't want to switch out the battery that's under warranty for another 30000 miles or another 2 years. This location is only good if you want to purchase a vechile closer to east county other then that I would highly suggest taking it to any other location especially if it's a manufacturer issue because they will fight you until the end and this is not a corporate location so the actual hyundaiusa.com will not do anything besides call them they are very familiar with the location and even they advised to go else where. When I called a different location I was told this location fights any customer so that they don't work on anything that's under warranty which is not ok if you buy a brand new car off the lot and promised warranty and if there's any issues they should and are supposed to take care of it, apparently this location will not and theres no one to speak to besides the location manager and he's no better, wheni told him what happened and said if he can look into it he said you took the car and I explained to him your service tech called and said we need to pick it up and take it else where he didn't seem surprised at all and that says alot. Hopefully this helps others to choose another location so they don't have to deal with the headache of what they'll have to deal with here . Side note I got here at 830 for an oil change it's 1015 and there barley opening my hood i have my vechile status and it shows me exactly what's being done I've complained numerous times that an oil change shouldn't be this long so I feel like they do it on purpose I've asked the manager to look into it but like I said he's no better then the service department.

Helping the military.
Hello I am a retired disabled military veteran. I owned a lifted Chevy Silverado. That I could no longer get into because of my knees. Hyundai of Elcajon California Helped me get out of the truck and into the car that I wanted. That was lower to the ground. There were so understanding very attentive to what I needs were very polite. Very straightforward Not only that, but I also bring my wife's UV here. And I've always been treated the same way it doesn't matter if you're on the sale side, if you're on the service side, even just somebody walking by. They treat you with absolute respect and ask if you need something. Even the management had at one point.Came by and asked if my wife and I needed anything when we were sitting in the lobby. Introducing themselves I'm very, very proud to Say that I came to hyundai of Elcajon California To get service done as well as to buy a car.

TIM in financing is a SCAMMER
This by far is the worst dealership to buy from. I INSTANTLY had buyer remorse after leaving. When I went to the dealership I signed a contract with the finance guy named TIM for a 5.6 interest rate & when I got home TIM from the financial department at Hyundai of El Cajon that CALLED my phone and stated he messed up the interest rates from the bank and that its actually 6.99 apr and not 5.6 and that I have to sign new paperwork and the monthly payments would go up however there's nothing i can do and I could not return the car. Tim said for my troubles he would give me a gas card. Its been a month and he never contacted me about the gas card and he blocked my number. The car only came with one key and no floor mats. I am in my early 20's and I know nothing about buying a car and they took advantage of me and SCAMMED me

This one star is for Hyundai of America, not the dealership. Dealership was adequate.
Hyundai of America is AWFUL. DO NOT BUY THIER CARS. They sell lemons and then use technicalities to get out of honoring warranties, lawsuit settlements, etc. Wouldn't be caught dead in a Hyundai again! Very bad business.
