Given the reviews on Yelp I thought this wouldn't be good, but in fact it couldn't have been smoother.
Ralph clearly outlined the scope of work, they got me an Uber back to work and then again from work to pick up the car, everything done in the timeframe they promised.
My service assistant, Ralph, was likable, informative and cheerful. The work - just an oil change and checkup - took so little time I barely had time to get lunch.
The agent and staff were very friendly; however, I was not okay with hearing what was wrong with my brand new 2024 Venue. I don’t understand how my battery was the issue on the car when it started up just fine. It makes me think that I was sold a car with a faulty battery. Not sure if that was the issue but being told that it did not start up when I drop it off was a complete surprise given that it started up perfectly fine days before and the day I dropped the vehicle off…
We have had the same problem with our 2017 Hyundai Tucson since 2019. This was the 4th time bringing it in for service. Both my husband and myself have experienced the lunching and stalling when excelerating. Very hard to hear them tell us that there is no problem with the car. The Service manager was very condescending.
The service representative lacked customer service skill. Even with an appointment scheduled he was not prepared for our arrival. Had to leave my car and go into the service advisor area. We knew who would attend us because one of the other advisors indicated that the guy standing next to her was our advisor. It took 2 hours for our maintenance for life service. At 3:30 he is telling us of recommended service. We traveled in from Willcox for service, 1 1/2 hour drive. With the later notification, bad weather and distance we had to delay getting the recommended services.
Oil change and first service was done timely and details explained afterwards. Waiting room was very nice and stocked with water and coffee. Nice experience.
The new dealership is beautiful. Small, compared to some. Very comfortable waiting area, some amenties provided. Staff is friendly and well informed. Someone at the top understands " Customer Service ". Staff, all Staff are well trained. Techs are well trained. I don't mind driving 32 miles to the dealership, knowing I'll be treated right !!
