When you drop off your car, you can be assured that Carlos and Tony are both very, very trustworthy and dependable. Look at all the letters displayed inside the office proclaiming such.

La Mesa has a long history as a repair shop. They are not some fly by night joint.

2017 Murano with Battery Cable Issues
I felt like I walked into a small-town garage somewhere back in time with a neighborly feel, and with people who cared about you and your business instead of just seeing me as dollar signs. This place has character, skill and ethical business practices. They fixed my car issue with their skill as mechanics, not by buying parts I didn't need. I am so grateful.

Carlos explained what was entailed with a 60k service. Dropped off on appointment date to Tony. A few hours later all completed with the work and price quoted. Carlos & Tony and the mechanics are the greatest to deal with! Thank you guys! Ed McNelia

Could not get a start!
My Kia would not start if not used everyday. When I called for a tow the car would start when jumped. Then sure enough 2 days later it would not start again! Kia of Kearny Mesa told me it would take a complicated effort and time to find the short that they felt was in my car.
I took my car to La Mesa Auto and in one day they found the short at a reasonable price. They made my day (and year)!
