Good company, but need more communication and transparency
Hyundai is a good company with great vehicles for lower prices than other dealerships. The more financially responsible option was for me to put my lease Tucson in my name with my bank to avoid a down payment. I couldn’t be happier with my Tucson - it is my favorite vehicle I have driven.
My only complaint about this transition process was how long it took (from June to September of 2022) to finalize everything. I wasn’t contacted until days later when something was ready for me to come in to get/sign, and there were times when I didn’t hear from my sales consultant for several days when I was waiting for something important. Courtesy for time, being more transparent throughout the process, and communicating more frequently would be my only recommendations. Otherwise, I’m glad I could work something out to keep my beautiful Tucson for a long while!

Luis and the entire agency staff bent over backwards to see that I was able to purchase the best vehicle that I could afford. I initially wanted to purchase new; but, I ended driving out with a used car that was almost new, and in my price range.

Painless and Excited!
This is my second car purchase from Hyundai of Syracuse. My old car ran her race and it was time for a upgrade. I walked in to check on my old car in the service area and ended up saying just keep and traded it in for a newer model. Super excited about the upgrades and I am in love with my choice. Luke was super nice and well versed with everything. The whole process was quick and easy with only taking less than 6 hrs. from start to finish.

Relief from stress
My old Chevy did not pass NYS inspection and I had only a week or so until the end of the month to address the issue. The recommended fixes for it did not work. So I needed a new car. After a lot of online searching I found Matthews Hyundai and saw the Sonata I eventually purchased. It was a good experience and relieved the stress of the dealing with the old car. It was easy. The salesman listened and it was just a good car buying experience.

Could step up their game
The salesman was very nice but the service was not still waiting to get my car detailed it was dirty there was a used band-aid on the floor in the back there was money and crumbs in backseats, armrest console , and front USB console black mark on inside, marks on rims and outside of car
