I’m writing as a spouse as my husband took care of getting my car repaired. My check engine light went on over the weekend before we left for our trip that we were driving. Scheduled to leave at 2PM Tuesday. My husband dropped off my car Monday morning without an appointment and the team at Midwest made sure we were on our way in time. We were so thankful! Now, if I could make a mental note about the importance of 100k checks that be much better (my fault). Very thankful for their help and honesty.
Very fast service provided a loaner car inspected everything about the car and have been very personal, accommodating, and caring about everything will be recommending to anyone I know that needs work done they are very upfront and honest as well as one of the cleanest mechanic shops I’ve ever been in
Midwest was a referral from Costco. We flat tow a 2013 Honda CRV. After we stopped in Madison, we unhooked the car and were heading to Madison. My wife and i could here a vibration that got louder as the car went faster.
I called Midwest and told them we were passing through. They worked the car in quickly so we could be ready when we left 5 days later. The first thought was something in the transmission. We were dreading the worst. They could have sold us a new transmission because that's what we thought it was as did they. Instead they did a chassis microphone which helped pinpoint the sound to the wheel bearing. We were not even thinking about that as it had just been replaced three months ago, but was not seated properly.
The staff @ Midwest went way beyond what we expected. When something was being done they were on the phone to let us know and they completed the job over the weekend. They did unexpected things also, like organizing our paperwork, spraying the engine and in general did not try to sell us on something that wasn't needed
As an older adult (woman) i am very satisfied with Midwest's service, i was not only treated with respect and patience but had ALL my questions answered, my vehicle is very old and not much can be done for my "baby" now but I'm confident they will keep us both on the road as long as possible. Thanks Midwest ?
Let’s face it, nobody WANTS to go to a mechanic and shell out their hard-earned dough just to get themselves from point A to B. Add on some “bonus” surprises and you’re even less enthused. I had never heard of this shop before a coworker suggested them and I won’t go anywhere else from now on. Very professional, friendly, straight-forward, and on top of it all fast. That’s the best we can hope for in a mechanic, and you’re sure to get it here. (I promise I wasn’t paid for this glowing review).
I’ve brought my (very problematic) car here twice for different repairs & they did such a great job both times! They communicate clearly & in a timely manner. I had to get my car towed this most recent time & the towing company they arranged for me had incredible communication as well, which was really helpful as it was otherwise a pretty stressful day. Definitely recommend this place :)
I have had Midwest Engine service visits twice. Both appointments happened on the very day I called. My 2013 Toyota was in need of more intensive maintenance. The work crew is experienced and dedicated to doing what keeps a car on the road.Wayne Hammer has been known to being an excellent mechanic and one of my trusted friends had high praises for Wayne, his repairs and Wayne being the person able to repair any car problem. My talented friend Jim knew Wayne since sharing the same year in High School.I trusted Wayne's judgement the first time I talked.
Clark said they were good. Seemed like it was pretty smooth, they worked with his insurance well, they seemed straightforward, and they handled their business well.
This shop has continued to provide excellent service and communication. My car looks and runs great. It was wonderful to find a place where they talk to you about what work may be needed and options for getting it done in a way that makes sense and "cents" for all. I'm a recent convert after getting recommendation from one of my kids. He was absolutely right!
