Disappointed customer
I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration with the service I have received from Millennium Hyundai in Hempstead, New York.

On April 16th, I purchased a vehicle from Millennium Hyundai, excited and hopeful about my new investment. However, by May 11th, the car broke down. Before I even made my first payment, I began experiencing significant issues with the vehicle. It started smoking from the back, and upon turning off the vehicle, it failed to turn back on. The car was promptly towed to your property the same day.

As of today, June 5th, I have yet to receive any updates regarding the status of my vehicle. Despite being assured that the vehicle would be fixed by last Friday, I have heard nothing and have been given the runaround each time I call for information. I was told it was the meter on the vehicle which then turned into a hose being messed up. When attempting to contact the sales department or the general manager, I am consistently stonewalled and no one is willing to assist me.

As a single mother, this situation has been particularly challenging. Although I have been provided with a loaner car, it is an inconvenience as the gas expenses are higher than what I would have incurred with my purchased vehicle.

Given the circumstances and my numerous attempts to seek a resolution, I no longer wish to keep the vehicle. I expressed this concern to Abdul the same week the vehicle went into the shop, and he informed me via text message, which I can provide, that I could not return the vehicle. I was sold a lemon vehicle.

I am seeking a fair resolution that respects my rights as a consumer and alleviates the undue stress and inconvenience this situation has caused.

Scammers!!!!!!!!!
I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Millennium Hyundai. I have had my car for less than a month, and it already started smoking and broke down on me. When I tried to return the car, the sales manager refused, stating I couldn't return the vehicle. Attempts to speak with the general manager have been repeatedly stonewalled, likely because they knew they sold me a vehicle with numerous issues.

My car has now been at the dealership for more than three weeks, and communication with the service department has been abysmal. I receive no updates, and was initially told it was one issue. However, after I threatened to have another mechanic check the car, they suddenly found another issue. It seems like no one is willing to help.

As a single mother raising my daughter alone, the sales team was aware of my situation, and I feel they took advantage of me. I want to return the car because I know it will continue to have problems. I will never purchase from this dealership again. They are scammers who will sell you a defective car. Avoid them at all costs.

Don’t buy car here
They are robbing the people. Very bad service. Financial department is not giving you anykind of deal. Don’t buy car here . They force to buy tire warranty here otherwise sticker price go up . I am surprised how they can change the price once they already show sticker price. Please make sure what they giving you and what they charging for . Contact me before buy the car here I will explain if somebody need help

Bad customer service
This morning I went to the Millennium Hyundai Dealership to have an insurance check made payable to myself and Hyundai endorsed so that I would be able to pay the body shop for the repair on my vehicle. The manage on duty was so unbelievably rude and refused to even acknowledge my presence while just saying no we can't do that. Good customer service would have been to deal with me in a professional manner. Funny the same manager was very accommodating when I was purchasing the vehicle. I will never use this dealership ever again

The worst -they could care less
Hyundai had issued a recall for which I had made an appointment in late December ( just before Christmas). They cancelled that appointment (allegedly) because of an outbreak of Covid at the shop. I was rescheduled today for 9am, for which I showed up promptly. Now my appointment was specifically for ONLY the recall service (which is completely free of charge), but I was informed I needed an oil change. “No I don’t”. He said “Well our records show you haven’t had an oil change”. “That’s because I take it to a private shop across the street from me”, I replied. (For the record this is the 4th Hyundai I’ve purchased from Millenium…and now the last.). He’d wrote it up for just the recall. “Are you going to wait for it?” “How long will it take”< I asked. “Three to four hours.” “No, I’ll come back”. He said he would call and/or email when it was ready. We called back at 1pm since we hadn’t heard anything. The woman who took the call said she didn’t know, because he was in the shop, and would call back. we waited 30 minutes but no one called back, so we got on the road (they’re about ten miles away) and showed up at 2pm. My car was right out front so I assumed it was done. When I got to the desk, I was told they hadn’t even gotten to it yet because they were busy. IT WOULD PROBABLY BE READY BETWEEN FIVE AND SIX PM. I demanded my keys and left. THEY COULDN’T HAVE CARED LESS. No doubt they were working on jobs for which there would be some money exchanged. THAT’S THE LAST TIME MILLENIUM SEES MY BUSINESS.

Botched Recall Work
While I am not a sales customer, the service department is unorganized, poorly led, and questionable at best in maintenance expertise. They have had my car for nearly 60 days on a botched recall inspection, and along with Hyundai Corporate, have forced me to pay for a loaner rental while I wait for them to assess their error in repairing my nearly new Tucson. Service manager doesn’t return calls, dealership in the aggregate just ignores contact requests then comically sends the sales staff to see if you are interested in a new car. Two words: Rank. Amateurs.

Purchasing a brand new car.
The staff was very helpful in helping purchase a brand new car in a quick turn around. Even with the difficulties I had on my part they still helped to the best of thier ability and got everything in order! Especially Brittany! She was very patient with me and helped me through everything and re ensured me that I will get the car that I want. She was very polite and customer friendly and always had a bright attitude

Absolute nightmare. Beware!
My husband & I came in to Millenium Hyundai to lease an Electric Kona. I had leases here in the past without issue until now. One morning the car would not start, we had the small battery checked and it was fine so we had the car towed to the dealership for service. They told us that it would be a week before they even got to looking at it because they were backed up! After a week went by we still didn’t hear from them and when we called they told us that it was the main battery that was dead and that they needed authorization to order the battery. Another week went by and we didn’t hear from them and we contacted them again and left messages and never received calls back. Within contacted the main offices of Hyundai North America and put in a complaint and the young lady who took our call said that she would follow up with us in a week because she was going on vacation so when we asked for the call to be transferred to someone else she said it was not possible since she was already the one assigned to us. A week later she calls us back and simply tells us that they are working on it and not to call the dealership anymore that they would call us when the car was ready. We still did not receive any calls back, when we called Hyundai North America again they told us that the case was closed and when we explain to them that we still do not have a car back they re-opened the case. It’s been almost 6 weeks since Millennium Hyundai has had our car in the shop and we were told that there’s only 1 technician handling the electric vehicles & that he hasn’t gotten around to ordering the battery yet. Almost 6 weeks! They didn’t even have a loaner available for us. Worst service. we are here now at the dealership requesting to see a manager and we’ve been sitting waiting for half an hour for somebody to come help us.

I just purchased a Hyundai Santa Cruz. There was no haggling over price - it was exactly as quoted to me on the phone. All representatives were totally up front and extremely honest. I just purchased a Hyundai Santa Cruz. There was no haggling over price - it was exactly as quoted to me on the phone. All representatives were totally up front and extremely honest. I went to Millenium Hyundai because I need brakes. They told me it would be $165 an hour. Two hours later they insisted on my payment of almost $1200. When I tried to get an explanation, the arrogant service manager called me stupid, threatened to impound my car and I had to call the police. I’m a 78 year old man who deserves more respect. The manager of the store, after going through bbb, only offered me a credit of $250 for future service. The experience made my blood pressure rise and I felt like I was going to have a heart attack. I wouldn’t recommend this dealership to my worst enemy. Shame on them and shame on Hyundai for not putting their customers first.
