Don't waste your time towing your vehicle here and then paying their phony "dianosis". They will give you a list of all items associated to whatever system isnt working for a super overpriced amount - total scam. Never provided an actual diagnosis for the problem and instead of trying to solve it, Had to pay tow to another location and have it properly diagnosed. Rip off and complete waste of time.
Busy day at the shop so had to wait several hours, but the time estimate was honest and all services were completed with no fuss. Inspection was thorough and will be happy to return for future maintenance.
Making the appointment with Ken was very easy and the online reminder was great. The vehicle inspection was thorough & very helpful. Ryli was very pleasant and professional when I dropped the car off. This was my first visit. All work was completed on time and done well. The shop was neat, clean and organized.
This was my first visit to Moonlight Motors. They provided clear information about services I thought I needed. I authorized some additional services they recommended. I have a big list of recommended service that I think was partially fulfilled. Will definitely go back there for next service.
As always, Moonlight Motors exceeds expectations. You might be able to take your vehicle to a mechanic and get repairs done, but there is no where that beats Moonlights customer service.
They have referred me to Oceanside Transmission (who are great) and even to GMC when I had paint peeling off my truck. They always go the extra mile without having to ask.
As a return customer, I have had issues with faulty equipment that was installed and Moonlight was dedicated to fixing the issue, free of charge.
For my loyalty, my last oil change and tire rotation was free. What a great surprise!
Thank You Marty, Adam and the team at Moonlight Motors. Just like family.
I appreciate the excellent work Moonlight Motors has done in keeping my Honda on the road for many, many miles. Marty, Ken and all the mechanics have been top notch. I highly recommend them.
Ive gone to Moonlight Motors a few times since I moved here a year ago and have always found them super friendly and helpful. Ive always been given honest advice and never felt they were pushing any unnecessary extras. Definitely plan to stick with Moonlight.
When my SUV began having issues starting, I called Moonlight Motors for the diagnostic and repair. We use Moonlight Motors exclusively for all of our car maintenance and services issues. I trust Marty and Ken to give me solid advice and do great work. They completed the work in a reasonable amount of time, as usual. Thanks for getting me back on the road!
This was my 1st visit. Based on my experience, I will be using Moonlight Motors for any further work. From accommodating my schedule in scheduling an appointment to finishing the work they were 1st class. They provided a diagnostic report including pictures so I could see what they found. They throughly reviewed it with me and then got to work on my car. They are very friendly and kept me updated on their progress. I will be recommending Moonlight Motors to my friends.
I took my Camry in for a free brake inspection and maybe to change the oil. They texted a detailed inspection of the entire vehicle pinpointing functions that need attention for every part of the car, Fine. I should have read the diagnostic, thanked them, gotten my car back and taken it somewhere else. 2,300.00 dollars to replace a radiator and to do the front brakes!!! I was weary of shopping around so I let them do the radiator and brakes. Big mistake. When Marty explained the itemized list and why it was so expensive, I was flabbergasted. 404.08 for front brake pads and roters? Over 200 dollars labor for that. 232 dollars for a radiator? 634.34 for the labor on the radiator alone. 52 dollars for a radiator hose?58.68 for a hose clamp? Another 73.52 to remove and replace lower radiator hoses. Plus 200 more labor charge to replace the “Napa” hoses and replace the fluid. $155 dollars to replace parts like $77.44 temperature gauges and 91.23 fluids etc. all of which are 10 X what you could buy at a parts store.
A gold radiator and a platinum brake pads should not run into $2300.00 dollars. I am sorry. I am still sick to my stomach that I was so stupid to let them do that work.
Unbelievable. I am kicking myself for agreeing to it, although the technician made it sound like the radiator would explode at any minute. Of course, there were dozens of other items on the list, that I passed on, and after the job was done, I felt completed RIPPED off.
Marty is a nice guy. He gave ne a ride home and picked me up. But for $2000 they should have sent a limo. I would never take a car there again. Save your money.
Moonlight has worked on my Prius for years but Hybrid system quit working and they did there darndest to fix it . Unfortunately it was more serious then expected and had to go to Toyota.
Moonlight Motors Has been working on our cars for years and do a great job. Don’t go to anywhere else unless we have to.
