Jeffrey Johnson aka Snake Oil Sales Manager
Was recently going to purchase a Hyundai from Napletons. But when it came to final paperwork Jeff tried to get me to pay 11829 in additional money to be paid in a personal check to him. When asked about it all he did was continue to lie that he didn’t mean to do it. When I brought the situation to Chris Layton his manager. All Chris could do was defend Jeff.

Incompetent service dept- misdiagnosed problem for 2 years
I brought my car in for a transmission issue in 2019 , with video which demonstrated the problem. I brought it in for days at a time, and they claimed it never replicated the problem, so they can’t do anything while admittedly never checking under the hood.
My warranty expired in September 2019, and in August 2019, i brought it in again. A service guy walked by, said he hears “ticking” and its my engine that is causing the issue, the dealership submitted a claim and Hyundai agreed to replace the engine, the service rep told me this should take care of my problem but if not no worries, Hyundai is good at covering costs. To no ones surprise, the problem continued. 2 weeks ago, the engine almost seized, scaring my wife, and I brought it in again. A tech said an engine code finally registered as... you guessed it, a transmission issue. The service manager said he will add more to the notes because “I had both a engine and transmission issue”. Hyundai turned down my claim. After paying $2500.00 for a new transmission from a reputable company, I feel like they scammed Hyundai for a new engine and scammed me by not fixing the problem.

THIS IS THE SECOND REVIEW IN 2 DAYS THIS CUSTOMER IS UPSET WITH HYUNDAI.HIS ENGINE WAS APPROVED BY HYUNDAI AFTER THE NEEDED TEST. HE IS THE SECOND OWNER WITH 88,000 MILES DEALERSHIP CAN ONLY REPAIR WHAT THEY FIND. WE SHOULD NOT GET A BAD SCORE BECAUSE HYUNDAI DECLINE HIS REQUEST.

Incompetent Preowned Sales team
I came across an aggressively priced 2019 Toyota Rav 4 that I am attempting to purchase for my new college graduate. Car was marketed on several venues including Car Gurus, company website, etc. The car pricing was identical on all venues. I expressed interest in purchasing the car. I was a bit confused as to who I was personally dealing with, as several different people reached out to me. No problem with that, just confusing. The problem came when I decided the vehicle was what I wanted to purchase. The last contact was with a "know at all" New York salesperson who was very misinformed. I explained I wanted an out the door price. As the vehicle was listed for $26,943, I expected dealer fees, tax, title, etc. So maybe another $2k. When he spoke with me, first, told me that the advertised price was only for first responders, police/fire or military personal. And then proceeded to tell me about a "disclaimer" or small print on ad. Then told me that as an out state purchaser, I would not only be responsible for the state sales tax of Florida, but also my home state of SC. And then somehow told me the car would be around "$35K". Stated all the incorrect information with a brash, arrogant NY attitude. Poorly trained, miss-informed sales people are on your front lines turning away customers from your advertising. Thought you may want to know.

Horrible, Horrible, Horrible
Dont waste your time unless you want to be screwed over. Loe Hanuka is the F& I directer, he should be fired for the way he treats people and for faud. Bought a car sticker price was 17,900 when we got done we finaced 24,000 with a trade in and a 3000 deposit. We told them no extras, they added everything but the kitchen sink. he yelled and cussed at me, very umprofessional. Left in the middle of the sale, he must be making the dealership tons of money the way he screws people over. Never turned in my tag from the trade in and my lincence got suspened. now they wont answer any calls or emails. The very worst is not even compare to how this dealership dioes buiness.

Over all worst dealership
We purchased a car on 5/5/2021 signed all papers to be told that they would not accept our bank statements so we waked out and drove an hour in half back home. The next morning I receive a call from our salesman saying they worked it out and we would here back within the hour and let us know when we can come pick up the car this was at 10;30 that morning. I waited and waited and called and called and then texted and got nothing but a run around finally at 6 they called saying its ready so we drove back down there. We signed all the papers again and the sales manager Adam took my debit card for the down payment he returns with 2 receipt that the card was declined. I pulled up our bank account on my phone and its showing the down payment went through. He refused to accept that and said I had to go get cash. I explained I cant. the money is gone and again showed him my bank account where it stated clear as day the charge had been taken out from Napleton . Again he refused and got very rude so I did what he wanted and went straight to the bank, When I returned with conformation the charge was deducted Adam had left for the day leaving the salesman to handle it. After explaining over and over that this is not our fault you have our money they still refused to let us have the car. He told me come back tomorrow and we can handle it, so you want me to take a car that we have already traded tags and switched insurance to the new car home and drive back down in morning, are you crazy. Finally after several hours, and me not backing down with Adam ( its now 10'30pm) over the phone because he was gone our salesman called his big boss and explained the situation he said we can take the car home and if there were any issues they would call us in the morning. Imagine this no issues. no calls everything went through just like I sad. Adam was so rude my husband was about to come through the phone because of the way he was talking to me. Several times told me if you don't like it then don't buy the car. Finally at 11 that night they gave us the keys to the car. No gas in the car, it had not been detailed like they said. They are the biggest scam dealership I have ever dealt with. I wish I would of never went back because looking over our paperwork they charged us for stuff we told them we didn't want or need but they charged us anyway. I will never return to this dealership. I have tried to call them and complain but again just keep getting the run around.

Customer Service
The service department's customer service leaves much to be desired. Here are just a few of my complaints: 1. they don't answer the phone: 2. lack of return calls; 3. my car was towed to the dealership and if I didn't constantly call, I would not have heard from them. No feedback on what the problem is or the status of the vehicle.

Great Service
When I made my initial purchase of a 2021 Sonata everything went very well, but I decided to make a change and there was a breakdown in communications between the Sales Department and myself. It was then escalated to Mr. Chris Layton, Sales Manager, who resolved the problem with a satisfactory result for myself and the car dealership. I would like to thank Mr. Layton for his handling of the situation. I am very well satisfied with my purchase. Thanks again for you customer service.
