Went in to have my brakes checked on a vehicle I just got. Was told i would be $1,100 for parts and labor. I called the guy I got the car from and he said to bring it to him and he would check it out. Brian told me the vehicle was not safe to drive, but I did not have $1,100 to fix the brake pads and rotors. The guy I bought the car from said it was a blown ABS fuse and that the brake pads and rotors were fine. Which he showed them to me and the pads themselves looked almost brand new because they were barely worn down! So what was a cheap fix Perry Auto was going to charge me $1,100 for.
Atoya said when she came to pick up her vehicle after it had been at the facility for a while, it was towed away, and they lost the information on where her vehicle was towed to.
