BAD, DISHONEST AND LIARS
Multiple issues occurred throughout the time period from December 16th, 2024
through March 29, 2025


The car was reserved at Plaza Hyundai on December 27th, 2024 @ 10:30
a.m. for check engine light, engine knock (re-call for load bearing and
rod), engine oil burnt etc. The car was released on January 21st, 2025 after multiple reminders/visits. You barely get connected with someone over the phone. Service center charged $442 for diagnosis and said will be reversed if engine replacement approves

On January 29th, 2025, I took the car back to Service Center of Plaza Hyundai because the engine light came back and oil was kept burning considering the fact, the oil just emptied out within few days after the oil change was made

The service kept the vehicle on January 29th and March 15th, 2025 after engine replacement. The service center again charged $1627 even though engine replacement approved. As I said, bunch of liars there and said, the parts they replaced are not covered as part of engine replacement. They didn't bother asking me and replaced the parts without mentioning the details on the receipt

On March 17, the car again reserved at service center because engine light came back and released after 2 days. Again cost me $216 for oxygen sensor and lied again by Manager as he said, only one oxygen sensor covered with engine replacement, and they already replaced previously

The biggest and most critical issue started, when I took the vehicle back, it was shaking and vibrating and I was so disappointed and took my vehicle to my local mechanic. As per diagnostic, the engine and transmission weren't assembled, and engine was hanging. I can attach video but there is no option here. Upon further diagnosis, the transmission plate was broken where bolt's needs to be tightened.

I took the car back to dealership on March 27, 2025 just 2 days after I got the car back and Manager made us sign the paper and doesn't want to take the liability of the issue because It is purely their fault because they didn't assemble the engine and transmission properly. The car was given them without any assemble issue but engine.

Dealership kept the vehicle for over 75 days out of 90 days. No proper testing occurred after engine replacement and car was released 3 times and I had to go back to dealership for one issue after another

I've had to engage case manager twice on my case. The experience with first case manager is rough, he never responded my email and phone calls. I also experienced, there is no control of Hyundai Management on this dealership and case manager has no authority on dealership except conveying the message between customers and dealership. I asked my case manager to engage and escalate the higher management from corporate office and dealership but case manager refused to give me information. The car is still with dealership and I have no faith that they will do anything with the car for month, if they do, they will come up some sort of excuse to generate another large bill

OUT OF POCKET COST - ABOUT $2500 SO FAR EXCEPT CAR RENTAL EVEN THOUGH ENGINE REPLACEMENT WAS APPROVED. CAN YOU IMAGINE, I WOULD RATHER BUY USED ENGINE FROM JUNK YARD THAT WOULD JUST COST ME $1500 - $1700

Crooks, dishonest and liars at Plaza Hyundai Service Center

DON'T BUY HYUNDAI, DON'T GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP/SERVICE CENTER. VERY RELUCTANT, LIES AND BLAME GAMES HAVE EXPERIENCED

Never recommended to anyone neither to go this dealership nor service center.

Waste of time...
I called to verify a lease on the Tucson and was told to come in that it was available. It turns out to be false as always, moreover the salesperson told me that he was busy right from the get go and hardly sat with me to speak about the details. He ended up telling me that he had the SUV, but was sold yesterday. Mind that I called today. That’s a shame...

4 months and still no car
We had a contract to buy Tuscan hybrid 2022 in May and put in $500 with the promise to receive the car within 4-5 days yet after 1 week, nobody called. We called and no one answered. We went there directly and was reassured again nothing was wrong and they would call us as soon as the car was delivered. Yet few days later we received a call from the customer service center asking us to rate our experience with recent purchase because it was indicated that the car We requested was sold??? We went to the center again and were told they had no knowledge of it and kept telling us because of the car shortage our car was not there and they promised to call us. Yet week after week, no one called. We called again but no one answer. Now it's been 4 months, we paid $500 yet no one ever contacted us and no explanation from anybody. We need our money back so we can go somewhere else where they would appreciate us Asian. I hope I won't have to sue to get my money back.

Buy from Home Program
I put in an order online two weeks ago for a Black Santa Fe SEL with a premium package. I was contacted by a salesman and I informed him more than once over the two weeks that I definitely wanted the vehicle but I was waiting for my prior car loan to be paid off by the dealer who repurchased my car to put in my credit application. I did put in my credit application last Friday. I was supposed to have the car delivered to my home today and instead was told today the car was already sold! The car is still on the website and you can still create an order for it. This is not right. The salesman I dealt with tried to give me a different vehicle but when I checked online it did not have the premium package. I put in a complaint with Hyundai headquarters.

Bad experience - bad taste
I am giving it 1 star, because that's the minimum allowed here. It was a bad experience. I went with my daughter, so she could lease a car from Hyundai. It was her 3rd lease with the automaker. She made the mistake and let them know upfront that "she has a small baby home and doesn't have the time to shop around". Oh boy! What a mistake! The did tear her apart with lies, and delays. My advice to her was to "just walk away"! As not to account for the delays, predatory tactics, and rudeness - to top it off there was a sign hanging over the salesperson reading "due to extreme market conditions, Plaza Auto Mall is disclosing to the consumer that an Additional Dealer Mark-up of 5,000 has been added to this vehicle". What a scam! Hyundai would be ashamed of these thieves acting as representatives of the company!
Please do yourself a favor and don't go there!!!

Part 2 follow up
Dropped my car on 6/3/2021 for ac programs and gasket problem smoke from engine caused buy a poor job that they did weeks earlier. So i bought the car back. Weeks earlier they repaired the gaskets and the ac which was blowing hot air. This time on 6/3/2021 i was informed the gasket repair was under warranty but the ac needs a new blower and another part. I asked how come they dis not catch tbat problem a few weeks ago when they fixed it. They said its a different problem. Anyway right now they have not been keeping me posted on my car and gave me an price of nearly 1000.00 to repair the stall in the ac meaning the ac does come on right away but?15 minutes or so after starting it. Burning up inside the car during covid unless i open the window but the mask stays on. I called hyundai of america and made a complaint they are backed up 10 to 14 days. I have a case number from them but no call. My car is used for work. Let me know whats going on with the repairs to my vehicle plaza. Poor poor service. Not exceptable. I called them yesterday because they dont call me. I asked since ive been bringing my car there over for repairs can they knock off some of the 1000.00 cost to fix the ac? The service manager made an excuse of discounts in the past so he cant or hed get in trouble with his boss. They said yesterday the xar would be ready today. They have not called me yet. When i bought it in on 6/3 they said hopefully 6/4 parts issue. It wasnt ready. On 6/5 i had to call them again they were not picking up. Advisor Johan. Calked monday 6/7 still waiting on parts. Called yestrday still no parts. Didnt call today. Some of the advisors can be talked too and then there are others including the service manager who has left me in the dark about my vehicle. I informed them yesterday and other days dont leave me in the dark about the parts and est when i can have my car. Still no call or contact me. Stuck at home dont even want to calk them. I want to speak to who hugo calks his boss but i no ideal who this person is . Bad experience. Update: moments after posting the review: they must have read it now Johan called probably under pressure after negative review and says the car will be ready tomorrow. Still poor customer service. Its the closest hyundai dealership to my residence queens charges more. They are the worst. For most courtesty things about them is if you come in the morning you get free donuts or bagels and coffee and a screened telvision to look at. The concern is just not there. I think they increased my wait time longer on purpose due to person prejudice towards me. Colkectively they dont like me some of the service managers and manager. Had i not written the rwview would not have heard anything.

Still no response

Terrible services
I recently purchased a 2013 hyundai santefe from bayridge hyundai. Shortly after that bayridge hyundai was sold and all the paperwork was sent to plaza hyundai. Well for about two weeks my car needed to serviced. I purchased a extended warranty which cost me 2,000 dollars I was told that it wasn't entered in the system. I've been calling every day and getting the run around. Someone even fixed their mouth to say all the papper work is in storage and it would take two months to retrieve it smfh. So now I have to pay out of pocket to services my vehicle. They give all these numbers to call and they all say the same thing its not in the system. I call back to plaza and speak to a sales manager so they say and he stated he was going to enter it in the system and he would give me a call back im still waiting for this call form last week Thursday. Only two people have been really helpful vlad a sales manager and a receptionist named kia i thank you for that. I strongly recommend that you do not do any business with this dealership they are not up to date with paperwork and don't honor warranty. Taking entirely to long to get a response but they rook my 2,000 dollars in 2.2 seconds. This place is the worst I wish I could just give this truck back and get my money back.
