You were informed when the vehicle was picked up that the insurance carrier denied the damages to the suspension as there was no visible impact to the right front tire and/or wheel during the inspection. The vehicle was test driven on local roads up to the allowable speed of 50 MPH. Vehicle was placed on a lift and the front suspension was inspected. We found that the right front lower control arm bushing was partially missing and or damaged and had been missing for a while. The insurance carrier gave you the option to take the vehicle to a “Mechanic of Your Choice” and if they could make the determination that the damage was in fact loss related, they would cover it under the claim. The extent of the damage was to the right front door, and we could not find that the suspension was related to the claim.
