I've been taking my vehicles to Rob's automotive for years and have never been disappointed. They've always been thorough and taken great care of me. Rob has always been honest about repairs that need to be done and the those that I should plan for in the future. There are mechanics closer to where I live, but once you find a mechanic like Rob it's worth traveling a little farther to have the peace of mind Rob's Automotive has always provided.
My dad has taken all his vehicles to Rob for years, since Rob's shop was in Santee. I bounced around from one repair shop to the next, each time convinced they were piling on unnecessary work and charges. I finally took my run down car to Rob several years ago and when he was finished and my car ran and sounded like a car should run and sound, I was upset about only one thing: that it had taken me so long to bring my car to Rob's!
Work is always thorough and I trust recommendations here because they are always only "as absolutely needed." There's nothing like having a mechanic that you can count on.
I always go to Rob's for my maintenance and repairs, because he is honest, truthful and reliable. He has quoted me on repairs but charged less because the labor was less than he expected, and the friends I recommended to him have had the same experience. Five star rating.
I was able to get my car with new breaks oil change and new filter in a matter of hours. Rob inspires great confidence in his work.

Battle with Boulder
Did not have to file insurance claim. After hitting large rock, pulled metal strip off so I could drive to early meeting. Brought car and mangled metal to Rob. His team fixed - $200 well spent!!
I bring in my van, and Rob greets me by name, guesses by what I tell him that we need an oil change. He’s right, and tells me to bring my vehicle in the following morning so he can make sure to get to it that day. He calls me personally when he’s done with the work. So reliable and trustworthy and knowledgeable. Thank you Rob and team!
I have been going to Robs Auto for 10 years. I am 74 and I have been to many auto shops over the years. Robs is by far the best. Fair prices and top quality work. The only shop I go to now.
Took my 2007 Toyota Tundra to Rob’s for a major transmission repair. He was able to handle the project and now the truck drives great. I have used him several times now and have never been disappointed.

Honest and Reliable
Service at Rob's is unquestionably top notch. Two of my vehicles have been serviced here and I've been pleased every visit. Scheduling an appointment is so easy. I wish there were more shops that operate with this level of integrity.
