On 11/16/2020 I had brought in my Acura MDX to Alex for a new rack & pinion, axel and tie rods. 2 days after he did the repairs I called him to let him know that I was hearing a loud clanking noise that was not there before he did my repairs and I was told that it's was because my rack & pinion was brand new and needed to be broken in. Okay. I'm not a mechanic so I took his word for it. My car never drove the same again and he was the last person I would ever return to for any repairs of any kind ever again. Flashforward to Sept. 8th 2021 less than 1 yr later I am coming around a corner and collide with a parked vehicle when my truck suddenly pulls to the right throwing me right into my neighbors parked car and after having my insurance company and the Collision Repair shop inspect my vehicle it was explained to me that the accident was a direct affect of a bad repair to my front end suspension. My tie rod had snapped and my axel was pulled away from the frame and when I called Alex to ask him how he would like to settle this ? Outside of court or inside of court, his response was "I'll see you in court" I am so very very lucky this happened at 11:30 pm as I was in my neighborhood driving slow and not on the freeway where lives could have been lost. Thank God my neighbor was not in her car when I struck it and nobody was hurt. Obviously, I have retained an attorney and will be bringing legal action against Alex and Ryder's Auto Repair. Also, everyone should know that upon picking up my vehicle my roommate and I walked up to the garage and there was a 12 yr old boy wrenching away under a car on the rack and when I said Alex what's this? His response "It's my nephew, he's gotta start somewhere" ?? Is this what happened?? Only Alex knows. Please DO NOT END UP INJURED OR WORSE as a result of having repairs done here by Alex.
