The second time I took a nail in a different tire, I went to SS Auto and they said that, although it was close to the sidewall, they would attempt to repair it for me because it is so much less.
Well, a few months later, it seemed like that tire was losing air so I had SS order a new tire for me. Today, When they went to replace thar tire, they found that the one that they had been repaired was rotated at my last oil change to the right front and therefore this was my third nail in a different tire in the last year. so, as it turns out, the repair that SS did on the second tire held!. And the nail they found in the third tire was too close to the sidewall for repair so I did end up purchasing the replacement but at a much more reasonable price of $265 , Well done SS! You can’t get that kind of service just anywhere.
