Fuel pump fuse recall
I made an appointment to have the fuel pump fuse replaced after receiving a recall notice. I specifically mentioned what needed to be done when I made the appointment. I drove 30 minutes to the dealership and met the service rep who told me their computers had been down for several days and they could not replace the fuse. They also said they did not have the part but I could just stop by and get it done another time.

I called about ten days later to make sure they had the part before driving back out there. The rep said I would need to make an appointment to see if it needed to be replaced, then make another appointment to have it replaced. Why would there be a recall if the fuse didn’t need to be replaced? This place has no consideration for customers’ time and seems very disorganized. There needs to be a better system in place to notify customers of cancelled appointments if the “system is down.” No bueno.

Great repair service
The service team and Lynn did a great job getting us back on the road after rabbits chewed through our dash lights cables. They ran the updates for security and engine monitoring logic under the required services that needed to be done. We also had some damage. I like the way everything was itemized for our approval. This process was so easy with no pressure to upsell. I expected the worst having dealt with other dealerships but this was fast, convenient, friendly service. Thanks Lynn, it was a pleasure doing business with you!

Avoid the Service Department
It's pretty awful when the service manager doesn't know how the warranty works on their tires.

I brought my car in because a tire blew out. The service guy who greeted me and his manager claimed that it was driver error, that I must have hit a pot hole or something. I explained to them that was not the case and that the tire should be replaced as it was under warranty (it had about 250 miles on it). They told ME to call the manufacturer of the tire to handle the warranty and file a claim myself, and that there was nothing for them to do other than replace the tire and charge me $160.

This was not the right course of action. When the tire was replaced (and I had to pay for it because they argued with me about why the tire had two massive holes in the sidewall) the manufacturer told me that the DEALER had to take the tire and submit a claim to them. It was not my job to do that.

Of course by this time the tire was long gone. So I got stuck paying $160 for a tire that should have been sent back to the manufacturer, by the dealer, to process the claim. But because the service manager didn't understand that, I got stuck.

I sure hope they don't think I will ever come back there and trust them to fix or service my car. The manager should be embarrassed by his unacceptable lack of knowledge about how to file a claim for tires on cars that they sell.

I go through and read everyone's reviews only to see that my reviews are not here any more. Everyone has been responded to with an answer to there issues but no one has ever reached out to me. Today i went out to start my car and and the whole car shook. I don't feel safe driving my car and I don't feel that I should have to reach out to them they know what they did so now I will be reaching out to 3 in my side.

Motor mounts
I took my car in for a engine replacement without going through everything again i will just talk about the motor mounts. I have done business with San tan Hyundai for a very long time. And have always had a fantastic experience let me just say Mario is my advisor and my complaint isn't with Mario or any person that works there. My complaint is about the policy they have to follow. I'm a single mom whom is disabled and on a fixed income. I took my car back in a week ago today they fixed the problem with the acceleration but not the problem with the motor mount. When they put the engine in they didn't change the motor mounts then i started having problems with the car loosing acceleration I was told that it was one of two things a brake switch or the motor mounts. So they changed the brake switch and said it fixed the problem well the car started doing the same thing. In the process I called the Hyundai warranty department and and asked them about the motor mounts and the lady told me if they had of replaced them when they put the new engine in they would have been under warranty but since they didn't they were not. So now they say I have a cracked motor mount hummmm. Very strange. My whole car vibrates I was told by a friend whom is a mechanic that is very dangerous to drive the car with a cracked motor mount. So last Tuesday I talk to the service department manager and he told me to give him a few days so he could look into the motor mount issue. He also told me that Hyundai has never covered the replacement of the motor mounts how can the engine stay in place with out the mounts they hold it in place. So I tell him okay I get off the phone with him and I call Hyundai warranty again and ask again about the motor mounts and she again tells me that they would have been covered and she was going to document the record of our conversation well here it is a week to the day and I haven't heard back from San tan Hyundai and car still vibrates. At this point I don't know what to do. I can't afford to spend 500 and I don't feel this should have been an issue. I understand that the Manger is only following the rules of the company and this is so disturbing to me that they would not only put me in danger but my family. I don't drive my car unless I have to for fear of me or someone else getting hurt. It's also sad that I wont.be doing business with San tan Hyundai I have lost trust with them. I would like to say that Mario is a great advisor its a shame that his hands are tied. And this is Ms Walls

Engine Replacement
My car need a new engine and the engine was under warranty. So I took it back to San tan Hyundai where I always buy my cars. They checked me in said they had to verify everything with Hyundai warranty dept and never called me back to say yeah or nea so I wanted a week called Hyundai warranty dept ant they told me to call and get a rental car. So I did I was.assigned to a tech named Mario very very nice guy I got my rental car and maybe had the rental for about a week when Mario called and said the car was ready. I picked up my car everything was going good with it and about a week later the car started loosing exceleration no lights came on no warning never wanted to die so I called Mario and he said to bring the car back I asked him about a rental and he said Hyundai wouldn't pay for the rental I said okay he said it would be best to drop the car off on a Sunday that way they could look at it Monday and I would know something a week went by and I called the following Monday and the guy that answered said they hadn't looked at it yet to call back around Thursday as they were really busy I said okay. On Thursday Mario called me and said it's one of two things that's wrong with it and won't which one is problem he said the first one was some type of break switch and the second was the motor mount he said the switch was $190 and the motor mounts was around 500 each. So they replaced the brake switch and said that that fixed the problem and and then priceeded to say that one of the motor mounts was cracked really they did think to change them when they replaced the engine. Well while they were working on the car I called the Hyundai warranty dept again and asked them about the motor mounts and if they were covered and she asked me if they were putting in a new engine and I said yes she said under warranty they were covered but if they didn't replace them when they put the engine in they were not covered. Then proceeded to say they should have changed them when they put in the new engine and she apologize for it. Well guess what the car started do the same thing. I don't have money like that when I feel they could have done the right thing in the first place. Now I don't know what I'm going to do about my car this is just wrong in every way so this goes to anyone if they change your engine make sure they change the motor mounts as they hold the engine in place. As I said I have always done business with Earnhardt San Tan Hyundai not sure I will ever go back.

Engine replacement
My Engine went out I called Hyundai warranty department and they told me to take my car to the dealership of my choice so I called San tan Hyundai where I buy all my cars have for the last 3 cars I have owned and they have all been Hyundai sonatas have never had a problem like this before wellnhad my car towed in and I was contacted by Mario by the way he is a super good guy. My car was there for about a week and I still hadn't heard anything so I call Hyundai warranty and they told me to call san tan and get a rental car so I did and they gave me rental I call them a few days later and Mario said they were still waiting on an engin I said okay maybe a week later he called and said the car was ready and I could pick it up again wonderful customer service as I have always received from San tan Hyundai. Well I'm so excited to have my car back I took it and had it detailed and a week later the car starts having problems as im driving the car is loosing power I take my foot off the gas and the put my foot back on the gas and it goes no problem keep doing this no lights on the dash indicating what's wrong next day i call Mario he tells me to bring the car back in i said okay and asked them if I was able to get a rental car and he said they could but Hyundai won't pay for it I said okay and he said it would be better if you drop off the car in Sunday that way we can look at it Monday and you won't be without a car hopefully for to long so I did as he asked I dropped it off Sunday afternoon and a week goes by and I have heard from no one so I call on Monday and spoke to someone in the service department and he tells me they haven't had a chance to look at it yet now im a single parent who is handicapped and on a fixed income I never bothered them or called all the time I understand that they are busy but someone could have called me well the young man tells me to call back on Thursday they should have an update by then and to ask for Mario whom is my advisor but Mario called me on Thursday to give me an update. He said that it could be a few things I said okay he mentioned a brake switch and the motor mounts he said that the switch was 190 dollars and the mounts were 500 each I was like what are you kidding me and I said wouldn't the motor mounts be covered under the warranty and he said no. Then he said we won't know which one is the problem till we fix one so we will start with the switch and I said then what if it's not the switch he said then it's the mount I said so then I will have to pay the 190 and then the 500 or 1000 which ever it is I was in tears are you kidding me so I have to have my car so I said go ahead. So then I call the Hyundai warranty dept again gave them my information and she informed me if they had of replaced the mounts when they put the engine in the mounts would have been under warranty but because they didn't they couldn't cover them again im now in tears again praying that the 190 dollar job would fix the problem. A few days later Mario calls me and says that the brake switch was the problem and it corrected the issue and then proceeded to tell me that one of the mounts had a Crack in it really are you kidding me like they didn't see this when they took the mounts off and put them back on they hold the engine in place and no one noticed it till until after the fact well let me know who worked on my car cause I don't ever want him to work on my car again. WELL HERE IS THE REASON FOR MY REVIEW GUESS WHAT IM WAITING DID YOU GUESS MY CAR STARTED DOING THE SAMETHING ALL OVER AGAIN LOOSING POWER I HAVEN'T CALLED MARIO YET OR SAN TAN HYUNDAI WHY BECAUSE YOU KNOW WHAT THEY ARE GOING TO SAY YEAH I KINNA THOUGHT THIS MIGHT HAPPEN ITS THE MOTOR MOUNT THAT I TOLD YOU WAS CRACKED. AND NOW THIS IS ANOTHER 500+THAT I DONT HAVE. I have taken family and friends to San tan Hyundai this is so sad for me a company that I have always given the highest praise to I just don't know what to say I don't even want to call them but I have to have my car and now I will be out more money and longer again without my car. After all this I don't know if I will ever do business again with san tan Hyundai and the sad part I probably don't matter to them they have so many customers one loss won't matter. Excellent Service and Customer Care
I brought my car in to fix a rubber cupling in my steering wheel, which was under warranty. Rob not only verified and fixed the issue, but fixed three more issues that were under warranty that I was unaware of. Rob kept me informed of every step - including one part that had to be ordered, requiring a second visit that was scheduled quickly. Now that all the work is complete, my car drives like a new car again. Very happy with the result and my service. Thank you Rob and San Tan Hyundai!

I haven't had any complaint as far as the service to my 2019 Hyundai Tucson. They give me an expected finish time and have not disappointed as of yet.
