Awesome as usual!
Wouldn’t bring my vehicles anywhere but here ! Scotty always explains what needs to be done and gives me a heads up as to what I’ll need to pay attention to in the future. Easy to make an appointment and keeps you informed before work is done. 10/10 recommend!

I always feel confident with mechanical and electronic work done at Scotty's about 18 years a customer.
Any auto repair that still welds to save you money is a true auto mechanic!
I changed my 1st engine and transmission at 16 years old (53 years ago) so I know what's going on.

Honesty and Integrity
My husband and I have been bringing our car/truck to Scotty since the late 1980's! We were local until 5 years ago, and now in Bergen County. I tried a couple of mechanics in Bergen Cty but I lacked complete trust in their diagnosis, repairs and recommendations. Scotty is the ideal mechanic...honest, stands by his word/warrantees, skilled and of course he has an outgoing personality and sense of humor:-) That's why I'm now driving 50 minutes to get my car there. It's more challenging not being local, but worth my peace of mind.

Engine light + coolant issue = deeper underlying problem.
Scotty’s mechanic was incredibly friendly, quick to diagnose and recommend solutions. Fortunately, while waiting and making calls, I found out I have warranty with my dealership who took on the car next. And everything told to me about the issue was a carbon copy from what Scotty had said. Excellent service and knowledge from Scotty’s behalf. Will recommend this location to others who want honest, no time waste service.

BEST Shop I’ve found from Boston to Key West!
I have lived in many different states over the years and have always gone very far out of my way to bring my car(s) in for service to Scotty’s Automotive. Currently I live out of state and still I travel to Scotty’s after 25 years. Why? Peace of mind that my vehicle is in perfect working order.
