First, an ESTIMATE was requested over the phone without seeing the vehicle. After the estimate was given, it was requested that we make the bill $1000 more in order to cover the deductable that was his responsibility. So, basically, insurance fraud. When we told him that we wouldn't do that, he instructed us to go ahead with the repair. The car is an 2020 Audi Q5. Additional unforseen necessary parts needed to be ordered and getting them was out of our control. As is with almost all insurance jobs, supplements needed to be submitted to do the job correctly. Aryan was upset because he was going to have to use all of the insurance money GIVEN TO HIM BY THE INSURANCE COMPANY to have his car fixed. We could have done the job cheap but we choose to do it right. As is most cases, the frauder is claiming fraud. If he wanted the insurance money, he should have just left the car as is and not tried to commit his own fraud. We did the job the right way as we prefer to do.
