Service issues
After receiving a text verifying my appointment for an oil change, I called to add an additional service to my visit. They couldn’t find my appointment when I called, locating it eventually under the Kia scheduling. I received a new text notifying me of the updates. When I arrived at my scheduled time, the dealership was unable to find my appointment and the parts I requested hasn’t been ordered. As I was Becoming increasingly frustrated, the dealership offered to at least get my oil changed. That was fine, however they then proceeded to claim the issue was due to a call center. By that time I really didn’t care where the problem was, I just wanted it fixed. This is the third issue I’ve had with this dealership since The Smart ownership, the first being that they didn’t put oil in my engine and blew the motor up. ( Which they did replace,) There are many places to spend my money—I have been coming here for over 10 years…horrible customer service and I won’t be back.

Terrible
Bought a Jeep Grand Cherokee I could tell something was wrong was told by sales (Dale) bring the vehicle in and they would take care of me… Jerry was the finance guy told me I had bumper to bumper warranty.. I called and called with no return call finally was able to bring the car in (after 30 days so I wouldn’t be able to return the vehicle) only to be told I don’t have bumper to bumper warranty and it would be over $3,000 to fix and it wasn’t covered under the warranty I do have so we went back and forth for a couple days finally manager called and said they would fix it just this one time and I would have to pay a $200 deductible.. ok fine so they had my car for 5 days they explained to me that they have to send it to Kimberly car center to air up the suspension never offered me a rental car. I go to get my car drive off the lot and the same thing was going on if not worse I call the service manager he said Kimberly car Center said they aired it up and leveled it and as long as I don’t mess with the knob to change driving conditions it should be fine… just took it to Another dealership with in one hour they let me know it was the
Air suspension compressor and it will be $3000 to fix! Absolutely horrible service never returns calls lies and takes advantage of people at this point I don’t know what I paid $200 for so they can put a band-Aid over the issue and blow smoke up my you know what to make me go away I’ve put less then 500 miles on this vehicle and already dumping thousands of dollars into it horrible I will never be back!

Quick and friendly
We had a part come in for repair. It was covered under our warranty. They were great at getting me in on a Saturday as the mechanic doing my work happened to be in house that day. It was done faster than I expected and everyone was so nice.

The whole process was easy. I set up the appointment online, checked in on time, had a shuttle to and from where I needed to go so I didn't have to sit in the waiting room. The people there were friendly and courteous. They did a great job!

Smart Hyundai of Davenport, IA.
My check engine light turned on in my vehicle and it began shaking. I was really worried that something was seriously wrong with my car. I called Smart Hyundai and they were able to get me in the same day for an inspection. At the time of my arrival the staff was very polite and prompt in acknowledging my arrival. I was pleased with my overall experience at their service shop.

Please understand that you have to actually talk to someone in order for the problem to be resolved. I tried to speak with you after my advisor had removed the tire rotation charge and broke down all charges for you more than once. You did not want to talk with me about it. You asked for the name of the GM which was given to you. I personally walked down to the GM after you left and gave him your information, he has been unable to reach you as well. I spoke to you on the phone on 1/5 and you stated that you never tried to reach the GM and you do not have anything else to say. I am sorry that you feel you were lied to, but the truth is the brakes were 279.95 and the labor to install the tire, which road hazard does not pay for, comes out exact. There is always supplies and sales tax. You know this from doing business here before. There were no surprises, everything was explained, you were given the chance to resolve the concern before you left, but chose not to. In closing you had confided in me that you did not like the other dealer as well because of similar reasons. Again sorry that no one can make you happy.

Just a quick oil change and tire rotation
Only downside in my opinion is the inside could use some remodeling but it’s better than the Hyundai dealership in Clive inside. Staff is super friendly and helpful and they are always willing to make things right.
