Dear Customer, 
 
We appreciate your feedback; however, we would like to clarify the details of your experience. 
 
Your son/stepson’s vehicle arrived at our shop with significant front-end damage. As explained by the owner, the term “totaled” referred to the repair costs exceeding the vehicle’s actual value. Prior to the vehicle being brought in, your partner was informed over the phone that we are not a body shop. 
 
We did send photographs of the vehicle to one of the reputable body shops while it was on our property that we do work with and they did in-fact agree that the vehicle would be a total loss as it was a 2009 Infiniti G37 with over 100k miles on it and the vehicle is only worth $3,000.00 in average condition.  
 
Additionally, we were instructed to contact the vehicle’s owner, whom we later learned was an 18-year-old. After speaking with him regarding his budget, he advised us that he would call back. None of his four parents returned our call to discuss the necessary repairs. 
 
Rather than engaging in a conversation about the repairs, you opted to remove the vehicle from our shop. Furthermore, you attempted to offer a quid pro quo arrangement to one of our staff members in exchange for a refund. Despite this, we refunded half of the charges as a courtesy. It is also important to note that you were not charged for the extensive diagnostic time our mechanic spent assessing the vehicle. 
 
We strive to maintain professionalism and clear communication with all our customers. We encourage constructive and respectful dialogue to ensure the best service experience for everyone involved.
