09/27/2018 Drove my vehicle in for repairs that the mechanic Chris said they could do and then had to have it towed home one year later in a incomplete undrivable disaster. You're hearing correct over a YEAR later. In the beginning the mechanic who I had known spoke of integrity, trust, repeat business and professionalism. That completely changed for the worse as months went by. 8 months in to this ordeal, was told work was completed. Picked up a dust covered, oil smuged and smelly vehicle. Attempted to drive vehicle home and nothing was repaired correctly. While on a test drive, lost control of the vehicle, the steering arm came apart while I was driving and had to have it towed home. Luckily no one was with me (son/girlfriend) and was driving at a low speed. Upon inspection noticed there were only 3 threads worth of attachment from control arm to the tie rod, bolt missing in steering box mount, the supposedly repaired gear boxes were all still leaking fluid and no working gauges. Immediately contacted Chris he agreed and apologized that repairs were not done right? We agreed to a second chance to finish repairs correctly. This was an exception by me simply because we have history and was one of the first long term customers, lessons learned. Over the course of a year+ after continuous excuses, avoidance and unprofessionalism by Chris, we decided this had gone on long enough and it was time to get my vehicle back. There was no one there at the shop? my vehicle was outside, driver's side had water in it, hood open, unlocked, driver's side window jammed up, leaking fluids, dents in the hood and a broken steering box was strapped to the frame. Ten29 Garage has zero clear reasoning or comment for this outcome. Challenge anyone to prove my story to be untrue or that my truck is repaired remotely close to the condition as it was taken in. Not sure about all the reviews, have heard other bad stories about this place now but know most reviews are friends and relatives. Be aware, do not take any vehicle to this place for repairs will be a costly mistake.

Fair, affordable and honest
Chris took the time to look at our Tacoma and was able to check out the AC. Told my husband what we needed and gave a price to do the repair the was much lower than other mechanics we talked to. We decided to have them do it, left our truck the day before our scheduled appointment and went o. To our family event. Got a call that evening that the truck was done. Price came out less than the quote. They will now be our mechanic of choice.

Turbo or not
These guys are the best,we took our car to two other places and the said it was the turbo and would cost us a thousand bucks to fix didn’t bother with trying check other stuff first,these guys took the time to check other things it could be and thanks to them we saved a thousand dollars cause it was a big rat in the intake not the turbo.We will be taking all our cars to them from now on.
Cacy said they did a good job. Everything was done correctly. There was no agreed upon time. However, they got the vehicle in a day or 2 later than communicated. The vehicle was there for about 8 days. If, it was not his son's vehicle it would have been a little bit more of an inconvenience.
Hayden said that Chris did a good job. They were able to get him in on short notice and completed the work in a timely manner. He is really pleased with everything they did at a good price.
Marla said the business does excellent work. They took the time to explain what was going on and that was helpful. Customer service was trustworthy, and that was wonderful.
Kennard said he was pleased with his service. The work was done faster than he expected. The work was good.

Top-notch, trustworthy service!
I just took my Camry to these guys. They did a great job of keeping me informed of what they found along the way, they were professional, timely with their work (and with all responses to my questions), and were very reasonable with pricing. They made sure to get my vehicle back to me for work on Monday so I didn't have to rent a vehicle on top of everything else. This veteran owned and operated automotive shop should be at the top of your list for all automotive repairs!!!!
