Shabby work, Unprofessional, Rude and Unethical

This mechanic can't handle large jobs. He was over his head with my engine replacement. It took more than 23-days to get my car back. You can read his rudeness and unprofessionalism below. If this were a white business it would not be acceptable. Why continue to give someone that treats his customers this way - your business. It took my getting the police involved to get my vehicle as I showed up to get my vehicle and no one was there and Tony told me not to call him - to call his partner - that was between his partner and I. Note, it was Tony who I gave my vehicle to and paid for the services - up front. FYI....my vehicle dash check engine light and low pressure oil lights came on the next day and remains on. Tony Mobile Mechanic refuses to fix his unsatisfactory work. I have taken this matter to AutoZone CEO as their employees referred him. I have also reported this business to Better Business Bureau, Florida Department of Agriculture, the Automotive Service Excellence, to name a few. I don't believe his business should continue to benefit from unsuspecting people. Trust, like many of you, I had a great first experience and chose him to be my mechanic. But this is the type service I was subjected to as well as being cursed out for demanding my car back - after 23-days - a job that was to take less than one-week. Please read our text messages below. Because of space limitations, I will paste more on the next entry. You've been warned. Please don't fall victim to his shabby work - don't trust him with big jobs. As I said, he was over his head with this job. -------------------------------- Section 1: Below are text messages between me - the client (S.A. Jones) and the mechanic Tony (Mr. Anthony Sandy) of Tony's Mobile Mechanic, LLC. (Jan 13 - Feb 11, 2021)............. Feb 2, 2021 - 10:02am (Day 21) Client - I really appreciate you. You have been and remaining a blessing for me. I thank GOD for putting you in my life. Feb 2, 2021 - 7:47pm Client - Can I please get my car back? Feb 3, 2021 - 8:52pm (DAY 22) Client - Can it be taken for a diagnostic? Take the guessing out and know for sure what's going on. I appreciate you but we are in the 4th week Feb 3, 2021 - 8:55pm Mechanic - Tony - The found the issue the oil pump... We trying to see if the company gone cover it...Because it's kinda of an expensive fix... Just give me some time am trying to get this resolved.... I can have him drive the vehicle over to you tomorrow so you can see the vehicle is running to no engine noise... the oil light keeps buzzing off Feb 3, 2021 - 9:00pm Client - I thought it was supposed to be warranted Feb 4, 2021 - 9:26pm (DAY 23) Client - Tony, I just spoke to my ex. He chewed me out for having given you $4000 in cash and getting no receipt. He also told me how irresponsible it was of me to given you all of it instead of half. He thinks this is the reason why getting my vehicle back has taken so long. Please know, I will not accept anymore excuses or delays. I want my vehicle back by 4pm tomorrow night - Feb 5th. If it is not here by that time, I will find a way to come get it. If its not fixed then you and I will have a legal issue on our hands. This is not a threat. I mean what I say - not one more day will you have it. One thing I will tell you is that I don't do drama. The way that you addressed me and the language that you used was totally unprofessionally. You are being disrespectful because I'm asking for my car back - immediately - from a mechanic\business that has had my car for 23 days. Sick or not, in what car shop would that be acceptable? Also, I would like a receipt for the $4,065 that I gave you. If my car is not fixed, I expect to have my funds back today as well. You should know that you were still going to be "my mechanic." I totally trusted you. But your lack of professionalism and respect has cancelled that. I no longer want to speak with you as your language is not conducive. There's nothing more that needs to be said between us. Feb 5, 2021 - 9:19am Client - You came highly recommended by two Autozone employees. They gave me their word of how good you were. That's why I had no trouble trusting you and paying you upfront. At my age that was not only foolish but it was reckless. This morning, I called the Chevy service department - for some insight. I was told it would take a maximum of three days to remove and install an engine. Your illness was not the cause of this fiasco. The blaring problem here is, you delayed getting the engine and didn't make fixing my vehicle a priority. Hindsight is 20/20! Feb 5, 2021 - 10:18am Mechanic - Tony - First of all we bought a used engine... The engine keeps saying low oil pressure... am replacing the oil pump today... If that don't work I'll have to send back this engine.... You keep texting and won't answer the phone like a grown woman Feb 5, 2021 - 10:19am Mechanic - Tony - Call whoever you wanna call... but there's an issue with the vehicle am trying to get resolved Feb 5, 2021 - 10:27am Client - Please stop calling. As I stated before, I no longer want to speak with you as your language is not conducive. There's nothing more that needs to be said between us. Return my car by 4pm or I will find a way to get there and pick it up. We have no need to continue this back and forth.

In addition to the low oil pressure reading, my car's check engine light is now coming on. I need to make arrangements for you to make the needed repairs - before the engine warranty expires.
