In response to his Lies!
Funny how you respond to my comment by making excuses and pointing the finger but accuse my husband of the same thing. If you had such issues with him during the short time he worked there why didn't you write him up or fire him? Oh, that's because the issues didn't begin until the final 2 weeks when he got fed up with your lies and started having medical issues. Which is clearly why you choose to only pay him $7.25 an hour on that final 2 weeks check. So obvious!
Luckily, we have text message proof of when he text you letting you know he was gonna be late or not coming in. Also when he was having high blood pressure issues, he sent you pics to show it. And I have the papers from the Emergency Room to prove he went to the hospital but still came to work the next day. Also, those 1st 2 weeks when he worked 13 days straight, over 100 hours you sure had no complaints. Sounds like you just used him to get your cars caught up while your other mechanics were out sick. He didn't start having medical issues and being late until his next check with you reflected part time work. He was hired for a full time job, yet you were only working him and paying him part time hours. He's never had this issue before until coming to you. Has over 15 to 20 years experience and still has customers he has worked for the past decade. The minimum wage you paid is not even correct. And no where in your paperwork does it say you are paying mechanics $7.25 an hour. No mechanic gets paid that or will work for that especially your so called ASE certified ones. That's the rate from 2 years ago. The labor board is already working on the claim so I'm happy to hear you are willing to talk to them. They will be in touch. We tried to settle this amicably with you but you refused and threatened us. So our prayers are with you as well. Our labor claim reflects that we are still trying to be fair with you. We didn't even claim ALL the hours he worked. I skipped 2 pay periods which is a month. We wanted this to end peacefully and fairly. You escalated it. I assume you like conflict and drama. I do not! Good luck to you!
