Won't be back!
I have been a loyal customer since 2009. The previous owner, Mr. Lee, was so good to me. Before he sold the shop, Mr. Lee introduced me to the new management. But that manager was only there for a few years and now there is a new crew running the shop. I was having an issue when I started my car and called about bringing my car in to get it checked out. After two hours of waiting, I was told it would be thousands of dollars and they would need my car for two days. As someone who doesn’t know her way around a car engine, I trusted that I was being told correct information.

Shocked by the price, I texted a friend who knows cars well and I asked if the diagnosis and cost sound right. He told me absolutely not. My friend said it’s a simple battery issue. I talked to the manager and the tech explaining their diagnosis didn’t make sense at all to addressing my original issue and asked to check the battery. And guess what, my battery needed to be replaced. The manager told me I still needed to have the thousands of dollars diagnosis service done and to schedule it soon.

Questioning how they missed the simple battery issue, I had two other shops look at my car and both shops told me there was NOTHING WRONG with my car. Grateful I didn’t have to spend thousands of dollars, but now my trust and loyalty to Tysons BP is gone. Either their techs are not qualified or they are trying to take advantage of customers with unnecessary cost. After decades of being a regular customer, I will not be going back to Tysons BP.

Thank you for your candid feedback and for your loyalty to our shop since 2009. We deeply value long-term customers like you who have stayed with us through ownership and management changes.

We're concerned there may have been a misunderstanding about your recent service. Our technicians correctly diagnosed and replaced your battery to address the starting issue you initially reported. The additional recommendations came from a complimentary multi-point inspection, which identified worn control arms and bushings that would need attention before your state inspection in August.

While these parts themselves aren't very expensive, we explained that the labor costs would be higher due to the complexity of the repair on your specific vehicle model. We even offered a $500 discount on labor costs in appreciation of your long-standing loyalty.

Safety is our absolute priority at Tysons BP, and our technicians take their diagnostic responsibilities seriously, especially when potential safety issues are involved. The concerns we identified would likely be flagged by any experienced state inspector.

We sincerely apologize for any confusion in our communication that led to this misunderstanding. We would welcome the opportunity to discuss this further and address your concerns personally. Please contact me directly at (703)448-3550 at your convenience.

I took my Range Rover to Tyson BP for inspection and tire change. They have the most knowledgeable and efficient, and honest staff. They took care of my needs the same day and provided a quick and friendly service while offering great tips for maintaining my vehicle. I highly recommend them, and even though I live in Maryland, it's worth the drive to visit them for service.

Used tire change
They replaced my tired for 80 bucks I know It was a used tire but I noticed air pressure was very low when I got in the car after they changed the tire, for that price I could somewhere else and paid 100 for a new tire. It’s now week two and now my air pressure is going down the same tire they just changed. Smfh

Oil Change
I love going to Tysons BP where I believe the men treat all of their customers fairly! I had dealt with the former manager Safey for several years! Not going to lie he was why I came back every time. It was pretty devastating when he left! I’m quite sure everyone felt the same way. The new manager Said is quite nice and working hard to gain everyone’s approval. He is doing a good job!! Professional and very kind! Thank you gentleman🙂
